Quoted Dr. Mussman for $300 to perform a site migration to his Dreamhost server.

Information from Belinda about site migration:
“What client is looking for is called website migration. There are tools and other resources that will complete this for the client. The resources are built to manage other servers and what those servers entail. Usually, it takes some time to figure out how the server is setup, hence there’s usually a team and an additional fee for migration. We can complete this for the client if they give us proper login credentials and the cost would be a one time fee of $300+. It is still suggested that new server webmaster complete this due to their knowledge of the server.

If client is more comfortable, Godaddy.com offers a fairly quick and easy migration. They only ask us for credentials and usually can get it done within 1-2 days.

Once the website is confirmed, functional on new location; the migration is over. We will not make further adjustments.”
