I just wanted to follow up and let you know that I’m almost done with developing and inputting content into your new website, and should have it you for your review by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

2. Add an About Us tab after Home to the main navigation bar. Add submenus under it: Meet the Doctor – Our Office – Blog – Testimonials

1. I’ve added each of the featured services as posts, if you can please link those to their appropriate areas
2. Make Request an Appointment. button as it was in the original design, as well as having it visible/stick on ALL inner pages except Contact page.
3. Phone number in footer is hard to read. Can you make it larger and make it white (have it highlight in white as well)
4. Can you have the doctors image come in from the side like the white box does over the hero image of this site – http://robertherman.360sites.net/ – same thing for the Testimonials box
5. Please add Facebook and Twitter Icon near footer area.

7. Can you resize Hero images so they fit better? Right now the people in the landscapes are cropped out (or half of their bodies).

We can make minor changes to the design (like adding buttons, moving buttons – the items in the navigation bar can always be changed, along with photos and images). Major changes would include rearranging elements within sections (similar to how I did with the “Welcome” and “Meet James Hoyal DPM” sections – Changes like this can be made, but would incur a design change fee, which the price would be dependent on the complexity of the request).
But if we’re happy with the overall structure and colors being used, I can go ahead and begin the development stage?
In this stage, we will input functionality within your website as well as content for the inner pages. Once completed, I will provide you a link to your temporary domain where you’ll be able to navigate through/ review the different pages of your website and make further changes to content and imagery if need be.

We prefer the proof that has solid colors, no gradient. Also on the appointment tab, the longer one looks better, but it need to stand out a bit more. Will this just be on the home page or will it stay on each page you click into? If it stays on each page, then it should probably move to the right side of the page so it won’t obstruct text. We are also fine with the navigation dots. Everything else looks good.

Regarding the “Request An Appointment” tab, yes I can make it present on every page. Also noted, about including the “Schedule An Appointment” tab on the right side so as not to obstruct any text. If it does I can make adjustments to this element later on as it is something fairly minor to change.

Spoke with Suzeete, she confirmed that she has been trying to get her husband, Dr. Hoyal to look at the drafts. Said she will get back to me soon

Sorry for the delay!

Please find attached the updated version that implements your above requests. (Draft A still employs the gradients, Draft B doesn’t)

I removed the color gradients in all elements of the draft for you to compare to the previous draft to see which you liked better.

I added a less intrusive ellipse navigation at the bottom center of the header image – which allows visitors to toggle through the images should they like (please let me know if you would like me to remove this)

I also added 2 options for the “Request An Appointment” button that would be stationary and stick to the screen as a visitor scrolls through the site. I prefer the longer version, as it wouldn’t obstruct any text elements when scrolling down. But I also wanted to present a more condensed version for your consideration.

Please let me know your preferences, and I’ll go ahead and begin development!

Ok a few more changes I would like to see. First, could you remove all the areas that have gradient coloring to something solid in the darker blue or grays already on the page? (In the featured services, the testimonial box and down at the bottom) I just want to compare and see which way I like it better.

Second, please change the order of the tabs at the top. Switch our office and new patient.

Third, take away the arrows on the sides of the header picture and add something on the side that is not too obtrusive that moves when they scroll through the site that says request an appointment or something like that. I just don’t want it to be in the way of the information on the page as they are trying to read.

Also for future reference, I would like to see the header picture be active pictures like hiking, running, walking, playing, etc. They should show people being active instead of the mountain picture.

This looks great. Let go with this.

For each blog infographic – Crop out the top portion of the image – I would suggest dimensions of 1000 x 667 – Or use whatever dimensions fit best, just make sure the crop dimensions are consistent for each image.

Add these cropped images as the featured image for each post.

Hi Charles,

We like the outdoor scene of Timpanagos, but would also like to see pictures of people being active maybe in the mountains or red rock (zions). We also like the changes with the center section though Dr. Hoyal does not think anyone will know what the letters mean or stand for. We also know we need to narrow down what the wording will be for the four sections. If you need additional feedback, please let us know.

1. Regarding your edit requests, I will be sure to add more images to the image slider (we can update the images and text throughout the site at any time) and have noted that you are open to using imagery that isn’t specific to the Orem area.

2. Concerning the Association Logos, I can go ahead and add some smaller text underneath the logos so that it is more visually apparent what the acronyms stand for. When the site is developed, these logos will be linked to their respective resources.

3. In regards to “narrowing down the wording for the four sections” were you referring to the Featured services?

As the requested text and image edits can be updated at any time, if you are happy with the overall structure and colors being used, we can move onto the development stage if you’d like?

In this stage, our developers will input functionality within your website and I’ll be inputting content for the inner pages. Afterwards, I will provide you a link to your temporary domain where you’ll be able to navigate through/ review the different pages of your website and make further changes to content and imagery if need be.

– I’m not sold on the center section about the office and Dr. Hoyal – I will adjust the elements within this area and include a stock image of a Doctor as a placeholder for the updated Doctors image you were planning on providing.

– I also do not want a picture of the staff on that page since it seems to change more often – I’ll be sure not to include a staff image on the homepage, but rather in one of the inner pages.

– We will also want to change the copy on the page about the doctor, and a welcome to our office. – Noted
