I have reviewed our website and feel good about it, but need to make some deletions and additions.
1. On the top of web (home) page I want: Home About Us Services New Patients Financial Options Contact. Those 6 headings.
2. Would like to eliminate Dental Videos and Testimonials (and any other generic photos of random people in any of our backgrounds or sections)
3. Would like to eliminate “Schedule an appointment” box/option. We are not prepared to integrate online appointment requests with our computer schedule. Will stick with phone contact for appointments and email to exchange info.
4. Remove “Take an office tour” from our site. Proud of office, just not interested in photos or virtual tour type stuff.
5. Would love to use photos/text from Tyson Dental website for our services section. Except would like to remove inlays/onlays section. Other than that deletion, really liked the way that was presented.
6. Think we need to list our hours under the Contact section. Monday 8am-5pm,
Tuesday 8am-5pm, Wednesday 8am-5pm, Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday – closed, Saturday – closed, Sunday – closed.
7. Under Financial Option would like to change our present wordage.
With our flexible payment options, paying for your dental care is quick and painless. We are providers (in-network) with Delta Dental and Blue Cross Blue Shield. (maybe we should highlight the logos for those 2 in boxes) We will gladly file all insurance claims for our patients even if we are not in-network with the carrier.

Hi Desirae,

Here are the logos of all of the dental organizations my dad is a part of. If you could incorporate them below his bio, or wherever you see fit on the website we’d appreciate it. Things are looking great so far in terms of the color scheme and overall layout.

We might want to change out some of the stock photos (under testimonials and our services) eventually and of course add the new mission and bio he sent you. We would also like to take out the box below my dad’s logo that talks about providing dental care in Roanoke, VA. As you said, these are easy changes that can be made at any time.

Hi Desirae, My daughter, Kate (a 4th year dental student), will be helping me with the design of the website because she’s in the age bracket that is more familiar with social media/marketing. Her email is norbokh@vcu.edu, so please include her in future correspondence if you don’t mind. There was also some initial confusion on my email address, but if you can send things to me at rnorbo@aol.com rather than crw@randynorbodds.com I would appreciate it. In looking at some of the examples on your site, we have found that we like a design that will feature our small town of Roanoke, VA as the background (with the picture spanning the entire screen rather than the traditional style). I also like the look of a logo superimposed on the background, however you best see fit. I have attached a jpg of the background photo I was thinking of using. We are going to take some pictures of the office and staff this week. I will email those as well as my currently logo to you shortly after. I wasn’t able to attach more than one file on this form. Hopefully this can help get us started, I’m looking forward to a much needed upgrade to my website. Randy
