    Hello Abbey and Dr. Sammons,

I just wanted to follow up to see if you had had a chance to fill out the information needed to retrieve the instagram code needed for the live feed? Or you can provide me with the login credentials for the instagram account for me to do it?

I have addressed everything listed in the edit notes aside from item #11 – I didn’t see the “Framed image of stadium attached” in any of the emails, to include in the image collage on the “Office” page, so I included an image of your logo as a place holder.

When would be the best time for you to go over any additional edits or elements for the site?

Rework footer menu items + add association logo review
    Task: Website | 2018-02-01 | charles.b | #117376 |

For future sites, please include a footer menu item for me to edit.

    1. For this footer menu bar please have it reflect the main navigation menu items, including the dropdown to view submenus functionality. You can stylize if you need to.

    2. Add attached image as an association logo slider – there is no link for this yet so you dont have to link it

    2018-02-02 | charles.b
Also can you make more space for the main navigation bar - When viewing the website on a laptop, the "Contact" menu item is being pushed to the second row.
    2018-02-02 | charles.b
Im sorry, please remove the "Acadian" version of the association - KEEP the "Acadiana" version

    Hey Charles,

Attached are the log-in credentials our office manager was able to find for the old website (you had said you believed it was a godaddy domain?)

If you have issues with this login info or believe it’s not correct, please let us know!

Like we talked about on Monday evening, we need for visitors to old website to be re-directed/forwarded to new website once it goes live!

    Thanks again,

Hi Charles, when can we expect to see all the changes we’ve discussed implemented in current website? We’ve reviewed website this evening and many of our requests have still not been implemented.

    __________
    Response:
    Hello Abbey,

I should have almost all of the edit requests done within next week. There are a couple I couldn’t move forward which I’ve made notes for below.

    Regarding Videos:
I’m sorry Abbey there was a misunderstanding in our emails regarding applying videos to content; Educational videos from our content library are not included in your package – I thought from your email, you were referring to videos that you had already had access to. But our educational videos do come at an additional cost, as it is a 3rd party resource that charges us. (please find below the email exchange concerning videos) This was regarding the request to add videos to the Root Canals and Periodontal Disease pages.

“Do we need to specify which videos we want to see incorporated into website also? You can put specific videos into the different sections of website correct? (example: CROWN video in the CROWN section of website). I’ve seen websites where the whole video library just gets copied/pasted into website and this does not look very good..”

    My reponse:
“Regarding videos, yes if you can provide the links to the videos you had in mind, I can embed individual videos them into any inner page you would like.”

    – The dropbox links for item #11 included in the docx file arent working. Please provide updated links.

    – Regarding the Instagram feed:
Please use this link to fill out the appropriate information and provide me with the source code it provides you: https://lightwidget.com/

    Hello Abbey,
Thank you for the information, providing the content as well as the login credentials (I confirmed that the credentials are working).
I'm still fine tuning some pages for the developed temporary domain at the moment and reviewing the site one last time before sending out to you which, will be either late tomorrow or early Thursday.
At the moment what I needed from you was:
    1. Content for "Preventative Health" under the General Dentistry tab. We do have an article that may be similar to what you are looking for if you would like me to use it: http://content.360sites.net/dental-cleaning-consultation/
    2. Names for all of the staff listed in the "Meet Our Team" tab under "About" (you can nae them in numerical order from left to right so I know where to apply the names)
    Thank you, Charles

    Hey Charles,

    Requested Word Documents:
Not sure why these ever converted from the .docx files they were originally created with..sorry for the confusion. I’ve re-saved all of them to .docx again and they should be good to go now! Pleased let me know if there are further issues with this or if you need anything else from us regarding content!

    Email Clarification:
I spoke with Thomas and got some answers for what we’re looking for regarding emails. We want 6-7 email accounts associated with the domain name of sammonsdds.com (different personal/staff; example: lori@sammonsdds.com, thomas@sammonsdds.com) The office is currently using outlook and all email addresses are associated with the www.annlaurent.com website that we have. Thanks for your advice regarding on who we need to contact to get help with getting emails set up..we have some local IT guys that should be able to handle it. Please let me know when I need to have the 6-7 specific email accounts to you so you can create these with the sammonsdds.com domain name.

    Hosting Question:
When we first started process of redesigining wesite 4 months ago, our local IT guy suggested that we purchase sammonsdds.com domain name through networksolutions (we are still currently paying the $35.00 monthly fee for them to host). Do we need to CANCEL this networksolutions domain name so that we can get hosting via optimized360…? Or how does that work…?

    Social Media Live Feed:
Let’s do placement under TESTIMONIALS page as you have suggested! Thanks for explaining

    Response:
    Hello Abbey,
Thank you for sending those attachments again, theyre working fine now! Now I'm just missing "Full Mouth Rehab (there seems to be no content in this docx file)" and "Botox and Juverderm". I also noticed some notes included in some of the files. I can implement all formatting notes as well as acquiring all shutterstock images requested but, I cannot elaborate on content, such as for the "Whitening" article. We don't openly solicit the creation of content, but have an option to provide it if needed at an additional cost of $100 per page. The article that is ordered will be general and share the same formatting as the rest of our content library articles but, are available to be customized (either by yourself or providing text or directions to us regarding what you would like added) to fit your practice, as you've done with some of the previous articles you had provided me.
Regarding the note in the Whitening article:
"the above two paragraphs are copied/pasted from gloscience.com website. How does copyright infringement work with this if we are one of their providers? I am not certain on how copyright infringement laws for this works - Perhaps you can contact GLO and see if they have any marketing material available that is for their providers, get written consent from them to use content from their site, or see if they will allow a simple disclaimer underneath the content you intend to use on the website.
I will also go through the remaining content notes as I post them in the site, and will be sure to ask you for any clarification if needed :)
Please edit/summarize this GLO SCIENCE content if possible or provide us with more GLO SCIENCE content so we can accurately reflect our practice offerings of both GLO and KOR whitening. (Possibly include a GLO WHITENING SUMMARY, BEFORE/AFTER images, Did you Know?, and FAQ section such as you have for the KOR whitening.." Please refer to first note concerning personalizing content/purchasing additional content if desired.
Email Clarification: I spoke with Thomas and got some answers for what we're looking for regarding emails. If you had the list of email names that you would like to use, you can provide those to me at any time and I will make note to add them. These cannot be set up unless we have the domain name sammonsdds.com in our account (please refer to the note below). And just to reiterate that each email account if $5 per month for every additional account after 1 (1st account is set up free of charge).
Hosting Question: When we first started process of redesigining wesite 4 months ago, our local IT guy suggested that we purchase sammonsdds.com domain name through networksolutions (we are still currently paying the $35.00 monthly fee for them to host). Do we need to CANCEL this networksolutions domain name so that we can get hosting via optimized360...? Or how does that work...? If you can provide me with the login credentials for your network solutions account, I can commence the process for transferring the domain name to our godaddy account (this process takes between 10-12 days), which the hosting cost is already included as part of your monthly fee. But yes, once the transfer of the domain name sammonsdds.com is successful, you can proceed with canceling your hosting services with network solutions. Please be sure that there are no emails associated with this domain name that you are currently using as once the hosting with network solutions is canceled, you will no longer be able to access emails associated with the domain name.

    Hi Charles,

Thank you for all info provided in your previous emails. Only major change to the design I have is to add the “FOR PATIENTS” section where we can attach the new patient forms like you had mentioned.. Please add this to both the top header of homepage and also to bottom/end of homepage where the different sections are also listed

Other ideas on things to add to website to make it unique: What if we add an OFFICE TOUR section somewhere within website where there will be several images of office (such as lobby, juice/coffee bar, artwork, patient rooms, etc.) Also, what if there is a running/live feed of either Facebook or instagram posts? (I believe the facebook gets updated most regularly)

In terms of switching over all the office’s OUTLOOK emails to emails associated with new website, who do we need to talk to regarding this? We need to ensure that no emails are lost in process/everything will forward from old emails to new emails associated with new website

We’d prefer to have website fully developed and running at 100% before going live vs. going live at 80/85%.

**CONTENT going in order from WIREFRAME I have previously sent over (and also attached again for reference):

***** Client provided a long list of instructions for formatting articles (mostly just including images) as well as attached articles regarding content. Most of these article links don’t work though – emailing client to resend ones that don’t work.

    Good Evening Charles,
We had a great New Year and hope you did as well! I'm not sure why these docs didn't send as docx files earlier- let me know if you have any further issues with this. I have attached the following content items as you've requested :)
I like your idea of the OFFICE submenu under ABOUT US for the office tour slideshow! Let's roll with this plan
I don't think the Facebook/Instagram newsfeed will go well under the testimonials tab however b/c people are not really leaving posts on our office instagram..this is more of us posting to pop up in peple's feeds.. however, we do get testionials/patient posts under the office facebook.. I was thinking these live feeds would fit better under the CONTACT US menu tab (as we have in our original wireframe)?? We'll follow your lead on this if you think it's better off under TESTIMONIALS! (just some of my thoughts)
Let me verify with Thomas regarding the current office emails/what he wants to switch over too and I'll get back with you regarding this.. I know that we ARE interested in having the separate email accounts associated with domain name of sammonsdds.com for all of our employees... if we do these separate email accounts, do we still "own" them (the email accounts I mean) as you have told us that we "own" the website?

    ____________ Hello Abbey,
Sorry, the attachments still aren't working. I think it may be an issue with "sharing" the files. When sending, do you see an option to "share", preferably "editor" level, for the files? The only one that worked was "Full Mouth Rehab".
Regarding the placement of the facebook live feed. I feel it would go best within the Testimonials page as, should visitors navigate to the Contact Us page, presumably to schedule an appointment, we would want their attention focused on making that appointment and remove any options for them to navigate away from this page. With everything centralized on the testimonials page, visitors will be able to see (and navigate to should they please) the various platforms which clients are leaving their feedback.
Regarding the emails; The Design, all of the website files and the domain you do own. If you were to switch services, the emails become more of a hosting issue, as you would cease hosting with us, you would no longer be able to access the email accounts (you would have to back up your emails), but the same email address names associated with the domain could be set up with whichever hosting company you would choose to go with.
    2018-01-02 | charles.b
    My Response:

    Hello Abbey,
I hope you and the team had a wonderful New Year!
Thank you for all of the content and specifications! I will have the content implemented as soon as possible.
    - Confirmed on the "For Patients" tab in the navbar as well as footer - I do have this implemented in the final draft which will be present on the developed site :)
    - Regarding adding a more comprehensive view of the office through an "Office Tour" slideshow, I can definitely add this in an "Office" submenu tab under "About Us".
    - Concerning having a live feed of facebook or Instagram posts I think it would be a good idea to add these in the testimonials page as there will be a lot interactive/moving items on the homepage already. This visitors to your site will have a centralized area to various links to leave reviews to your site.

There are some attachments that were included in a file format that I cannot download, If you can resend the following content items as docx files please!
    1. Anxiety Free Dentistry
    2. Veneers
    3. Cosmetic Bonding
    4. Whitening
    5. Dental Implants
    6. General Dentistry - Dental Exam
    7. Tooth Colored Composite Fillings
    8. Full Mouth Rehab
    9. Pediatrics
    10. Emergency Dentistry
    11. Before: Afters

Regarding migrating your previous emails - The migration of emails is a technically difficult and time-consuming process that includes the changing and updating of many variables, which we do not have access to, which is why it is something we do not do. What was the new email setup you were trying to achieve? To have a separate email account for each department of your practice? May I ask what the email setup for your practice is at the moment, as I don't see any email addresses on your current website?
It would be best for an IT person to be able to see/ have access to all of your settings and decide the best plan of action on how to migrate everything, if you were set on migrating everything.
One option would be to have a backup folder containing all of your previous emails (usually our clients do this using mozilla thunderbird, as it is somewhat easier to use than Outlook), which you can then access should you need to reference any older emails.
We can create separate email accounts associated with your domain name (sammonsdds.com) - The first account is free of charge while each additional account is $5/month per account.
    Thank you,
    Charles

    • Have Dr. Images scroll between Annes image, Dr. Sammons image and pic of them together (again, layers are hidden in PSD – please dont forget to use
    • Make Practice Philisopy area parallax
    • Have menu bar and logo stick as you scroll down the page ( logo can shrink and you can include only the menu items, not the phone number or social media icons)

Please let me know if it is ok now : )
    2018-01-08 | charles.b
    1. Header elements are still too close to the edge. Please bring them in more so there is a larger margin from the edge of the screen
    2. You can remove parallax effect in "In the News" section to fix image
    3. Footer: Alignment of “Office Hours” is off- please adjust. Spacing between days and times is too close as well (this wasnt done #6)
    4. For copyright footer: Sorry Rythm this is still wrong - I want it to be all white so that it is present but not visible (you can make it so the links are still clickable - but I dont want the text to become visible when you hover over it)
    5. Secondary submenu items in Menu bar (under services) not showing up. Please fix.
    2018-01-07 | developerrhythm
#5 - In PSD the image is not parallax. (Parallax concept is to zoom the image) The only way to fix the issue or the way you want is to remove the parallax effect.
    2018-01-05 | charles.b
    1. remove hero slider - keep image of woman in hat
    2. Header elements too close to sides - please adjust
    3. excerpt box over hero image missing Schedule an appointment button
    4. make hero image area a little larger so there is equal spacing between the edges of the purple excerpt box
    5. In the News Section: Adjust Lafayette image to better fit - like it is in the FINAL psd - also image is very blurry
    6. Footer: Alignment of “Office Hours” is off- please adjust. Spacing between days and times is too close as well
    7. Notes say to include the copyright footer links in all white - I dont see that I can hover over them - Please add

***Add more effects like http://thomasgoddard.360sites.net/ that have elements moving into place as you scroll down the page

    Good Morning Charles,

Hope you had a blessed Christmas break and got to spend time with friends/family!

Agree with you on the top/stock image in terms of not wanting to detract from elegant/luxurious feel. Let’s leave as is for now–

Agree with you on the rotating slider for the images of doctors and also for the logos. Don’t want it looking too crowded

I realized I didn’t previously specify but I do agree with you to add the “FOR PATIENTS” section where we can attach the new patient forms like you had said. Please add this to both the top header of homepage and also to bottom/end of homepage where the different sections are also listed

All that being said, We LOVE this most recent draft with all your changes! You’ve done a fantastic job in terms of making it all blend together more and incorporate more artistic elements throughout! We love the Louisiana image and the Louisiana magnolia in background. It has an elegant and tasteful look- all without being too overly feminine!

We may want to tweak/edit some of the images in the FEATURED SERVICES before publishing website, but we want to proceed with next step of the website development! This is content correct?

We have looked through library of content you have provided and we want to incorporate BOTH elements from the the content library and also from what we have developed independently. I will email you by Friday evening all the word documents we want incorporated for each individual section and also which aspects of the content library we want incorporated. In terms of this, we are utilizing the wireframe that I had previously sent over and I have a separate word document for each section (trying to simplify it as much as possible). Do you have dental GRAPHICS/images such as for a CROWN or a BRIDGE?

Do we need to specify which videos we want to see incorporated into website also? You can put specific videos into the different sections of website correct? (example: CROWN video in the CROWN section of website). I’ve seen websites where the whole video library just gets copied/pasted into website and this does not look very good..

Let us know what the website timeline looks like from here. We are eager to get site published soon once we get all be content straight! In terms of switching over all the office’s OUTLOOK emails to emails associated with new website, who do we need to talk to regarding this? We need to ensure that no emails are lost in process/everything will forward from old emails to new emails associated with new website

Also, please confirm that we will not have the OPTIMZED360 logo on bottom of website. We were assured when signing up with optimized360 that site did not have to have optimized360 logo on bottom as long as we specified with our designer early in the process that this was something that was important to us.

Also, we have a two question about the billing- (please forward to email to appropriate entity within optimized360 if you are not who we need to discuss this with). We were charged the 1st installment on November 22 for $2,499.00 at time of our first phone interview with you (as was discussed and agreed upon). We were just recently charged the 2nd installment of $2,499.00 on December 22. We were under the impression that this 2nd installment would not be billed until the completion of the project.. instead of 30 days after the first interview. Please advise in terms of this.

Also, we received another charge for $149 on December 22. What is this 2nd charge for..? We were assured when signing up with Optimized360 that there were no hidden fees associated with making a fully customized website and that it was strictly the two charges of $2,499.00 to get our website launched.

Thanks again for all your work Charles- we are very thankful! Looking forward to hearing back from you

    Draft Submitted
    Notes | 2017-12-22 | charles.b | #111928 |

    Hello Abbey,

I apologize for the late reply!

Regarding the stock image of the numerous faces, I think this would detract from the elegant feeling of the site due to the sharp contrast in color as constricting the depth a more simple image would allow.

Thank you for the logos I included them (aside from 1 I believe) – I was thinking that to better fit all of the association logos, we could make this a rotating slider of the various logos.

Please find attached an updated draft with covering the specifications from the previous emails.

I combined some elements and reduced the text for the practice philosophy to condense the design a bit, the page was getting very long (this can be a negative as most visitors to a site tend not to scroll past a certain point).
There are also some elements that won’t be visible until the site has been developed such as the doctor images and description changing.

Please let me know your thoughts!

(We will be closed on Monday the 25th for the holiday so I’ll get back to you on Tuesday)

    Thank you,
    Charles

Hi Charles! Sorry for delayed response on our end- we wanted the weekend to review/look over this design concept thoroughly. Overall, we are much more pleased with appearance of the homepage with your changes from the first draft! The colors/blending throughout look much better and I really like how you faded the purples from darker/bolder at top of homepage to lighter at bottom/end of homepage! We do still have a few changes we’d like to see before moving forwards-

**Starting from top and working towards bottom**
-we prefer the top/stock image from 1st design draft as opposed to this one with girl with the hat.. is there a way to use the previous image (brunette with top bun) but incorporate colorful/blurred background (as you have in this 2nd design draft) instead of the plain silver background from 1st design draft?

-For the “WHERE ART MEETS SCIENCE TO CREATE BEAUTIFUL SMILES” , we’d like this to be in a more elegant/artistic font as opposed to the plain font it’s in currently (but we want to make sure it’s still easily read). Is there a way to change this to font similar to the “DENTAL ARTISTRY” cursive or do you think this will be too hard to read when quickly scrolling? (We’ll follow your lead on this)

-I love the purple rectangle on left side of top/stock image with the “WHERE ART MEETS SCIENCE TO CREATE BEAUTIFUL SMILES”. Do you think you can move this purple rectangle a little higher up on top/stock image and put another purple rectangle underneath with link to NEW PATIENT FORMS? If not here, where else can we add link to NEW PATIENT FORMS on homepage? Possibly on left/other side of office image in the EXCLUSIVE WEEKLY OFFER section?

-For the WELCOME TO DENTAL ARTISTRY section, we’d like to scroll/alternative between image of Thomas and Dr. Laurent together, Thomas headshot, and Ann headshot (so three images in total to scroll through.. I’ve attached the two headshots to use for Thomas and Dr. Laurent) so there is some “movement” on the homepage..I’d also like to see other graphics/movement incorporated into final homepage (similar to ashleypricedds.com website that I keep referring to)

-For the MAGNOLIAS in background of both WELCOME TO DENTAL ARTISTRY section and the PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY SECTION, both of images are beautiful but look like they are japanese magnolias as opposed to the louisiana state flower magnolias (large cream flowers)- I found several of the correct ones when I searched shutterstock for LOUISIANA MAGNOLIAS. If possible, I’d like to see these in place of backgrounds for both sections.

-For the logos underneath WELCOME TO DENTAL ARTISTRY section.. I included all the correct logos in the bios for both Thomas and Dr. Laurent. Please update these logos to showcase all the different associations both doctors are both apart of

    -Love the team image section!

-PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY SECTION (please change magnolia background as referenced above to LOUISIANA MAGNOLIAS)**

    -Love the FEATURED SERVICES section!

-For the EXCLUSIVE WEEKLY OFFER section, please change the image to TG8_2834.jpg (one of Thoams talking to brunette). Please refer to above highlighted comment on possibly adding in link to NEW PATIENT FORMS in this section if you think it will fit here? If not, possibly in top/stock image of homepage underneath the “WHERE ART MEETS SCIENCE”..

    -Love the TESTIMONIALS section!

-For the Publicity section with CHECK OUT DR. LAURENT’S FEATURED AS ONE OF ACADIANA’S STEEL MAGNOLIAS section with the yellow background.. Please change this yellow background with Dr. Laurent image to the attached image of LAFAYETTE sign (full color or lightly faded if you think that looks best) and change the white rectangle with text to just a plain white rectangle with the “IN THE NEWS” icon (we will update/add to this once we have more publicity/articles about Thomas as opposed to ones of the previous owner, Dr. Laurent)

-For the MAP Section, Please add in “Conveniently located near River Ranch off Kaliste Saloom Road” on top/left corner of map image over the plain grey region..

-For the bottom white section underneath MAP that has LOGO and the other 7 sections next to it..please make two changes:
    1. Change 7 sections to the ones from our wireframe: HOME, ABOUT US, ANXIETY-FREE DENTISTRY, SERVICES, SMILE GALLERY, and CONTACT US

    2. Please add in OFFICE HOURS in a separate/3rd separated section on RIGHT of the the 6 sections (provided above):
    Mon-Thurs 8:00am-5:00pm

    Friday 8:00am-12:00pm *or by appointment

Again, we’re excited and very pleased with changes in this 2nd design draft and we know the next draft will be even closer to what we’ve envisioned! We appreciate your patience and attention to detail as we strive to compete with our local competitors in the area who have top notch websites. We’ll be looking more into the content library this week and will be sending you what we’d like to see in the website!

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or if clarification is needed to the above comments/edits
    _______
I wanted to ask you about placement for the LAFAYETTE sign image that I’ve provided.. do you think this will look best in the publicity section (as I’ve stated in previous email) or would this image (that we love!) look best at top of homepage as the 1st website image as opposed to a female stock photo..?

Let me know what you think at your convenience- we think it showcases our city nicely!
    ______
    Last comment I promise 😉

Can we also incorporate the use of a few circles throughout homepage design as opposed to just rectangles separating each section? (I’ve included few of the circle icons from Ashleypricedds
    Website)..

What if we incorporated a circle/circles in the top section “WHERE ART MEETS SCIENCE to create beautiful smiles” or what if we used a circle of two to blend/connect two different “rectangle” sections throughout the homepage?

I’m wanting to homepage to have more of an artistic appearance that flows together (if that makes sense) as opposed to just all the different sections on one page

    Design Updates for Sachit closed
    Task: Website | 2017-12-06 | charles.b | #108972 |

***These notes were sent through email: adding it as a task so that it is available in CP as well – attachments included in email as well.

Please make these revisions to the design. I have attached the necessary files as well as the PSD that I was updating.

Do not use color gradients (I removed some already – remove them from the buttons as well)
Colors should be solid/no gradient but use different shades of purples. Similar to how michaelmccoydds.com uses in the boxes near the header titled “DENTAL EXPERT”, “SMILE! IN GOOD HANDS” and “QUALITY COSMETIC CARE”.

Make the design more spa- but not too feminine
Infuse color onto site similar to how this website does so through images: https://www.ashleypricedds.com/ – ** Doctor likes how this site uses minimal colors but yet is still colorful
Only present the log as purple on white or white on purple (not grey as it is near footer)
More office and staff images are in their dropbox under “Staff and Office Photos” for you to use as well: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vf9b1tktjhubcb1/AADJCfh9zoVQpUOHWkw0yKdBa?dl=0
Please make the Design flow better. Again, reference https://www.ashleypricedds.com/ and http://michaelmccoydds.com/

    Sections Layout:

    1. Welcome to Dental Artistry (Include a new background image of magnolia trees or magnolia flowers)
    2. Association logos
    3. Practice Philosophy (include staff photo – attached)
    4. Featured Services

    5. Call to action/ Promotions slider

    6. Local Publicity – article attached and pull article “Check Out Dr. Ann Laurent’s featured as one of Acadiana’s Steel Magnolias in Acadiana Profile Magazine” from their current website: http://www.drannlaurent.com/

    7. Testimonials slider

    8. Make an Appointment

    9. Map

    Hello Sachit,
    - Use a little bit more purple and their variations, either through imagery or making the sections or background boxes a purple color.
    - For Practice Philosophy section, include the text below. Also, you can include a spa like image as the background.

"When looking for a place to relax, how often does your dentist’s office come to mind? If it doesn’t, then you haven’t experienced Dr. Thomas Sammons and Dr. Ann Laurent Dental Artistry.
When you visit Dr. Sammons and Dr. Laurent, you will quickly discover a local family dentist that’s not a typical dental office--it more resembles an upscale spa. From the moment you enter, you smell our soothing aroma therapeutic candles and are happily greeted by one of our team members. Enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and juices in our lobby coffee and juice bar area. We know that your time is a valuable commodity and we pride ourselves in honoring your busy schedule. Oh, and the daily fresh baked bread makes the office smell wonderful!
We pride ourselves in helping patients overcome their dental anxiety and offer complimentary nitrous oxide to our patients. Oral sedation or IV sedation is also available. Once in the dental chair, patients are soothed with garden-window views, aromatherapy facial towels, pampered with paraffin hand wax, hand massages, and are provided with chenille throws. Also, custom-selected music with over ear headphones helps to mask many of the noises that are routine in a dental office.
Our practice offers a full array of dental services and we pride ourselves in our cosmetic services. These services include both in-office and in-home whitening options, esthetic braces, smile makeovers, Botox, Juvederm, porcelain veneers, and composite (bonded) veneers. Fillings, crowns, bridges, and implants comprise our restorative procedures. In addition, we also offer root canals, oral surgery, dentures, TMD/TMJ services, and sedation dentistry.
Let Dr. Sammons and Dr. Laurent transform your smile while you relax in comfort. Exceeding your expectations is our #1 goal!"

    - For Item #2 I meant to keep the Sections Areas where they are but just switch the content of "Testimonials" - put it in the smaller section of "Business Article" section and the content of the "Busines Article" section into the "Testimonials" section - Please make "Business Article" section a slider as well (There will be several articles being showcased here) - Name this section "In the News"- use the photo from this article in this section as well http://www.drannlaurent.com/default
    - Remove the individual staff photos and use the group image of the staff - Include a "Meet the Team" button in this section
    - Use same font for "Where art meets science to create beautiful smiles" Also, make this area a slider so that we can add 2 more excerpts.
There are additional images of the office and doctors here to incorporate if you need: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vf9b1tktjhubcb1/AADJCfh9zoVQpUOHWkw0yKdBa?dl=0

    Hello Sachit,
Design is looking better but please rework it a little more. This is the clients competitors website, https://www.ashleypricedds.com/ so please do not copy any structural elements from it (Currently the practice philosophy and staff presentation are the same - please present the information in these sections in a different way). We like the overall feel of this competitor website, but want something better and less feminine (Do not use illustrated flower motifs like you did in the promotions section).

    1. You can remove the "Review us on google" and "Acadiana business article..."
    2. Put the content for the Testimonials in the section above it and the content for "Check out Dr. Ann Laurents featured.. in the testimonials area."
    3. Change the Hero image - It is on the right track, but would like something that stands out more.
    4. Include a spa like image somewhere

Please work on this immediately as the client is waiting on an updated design draft

Had referenced their competitor’s website – abbeyprice – liked how it was modern, elegant, graphic, spa-like, fun, luxurious and how it pops.

Let her know that I will be consolidating the items listed in their tentative wireframe.

She provided me with an article about the doctor she wanted to be included on the home page – maybe in a new section of “In the News” or “Publicity”.

    Hi Charles,

Thanks so much for getting back with us in a timely manner- we’re eager to get this website launched! I’ve CC’d Thomas on this as well so he can keep up with website progress.

We’ve reviewed the design draft and are not entirely pleased with the appearance. The purple blocks (and silver blocks at bottom on page) have the “color gradient” /fading appearance and we do not like this.. We are more interested in having different shades of purples in “blocks” (similar to how michaelmccoydds.com has his DENTAL EXPERT/ SMILE IN GOOD HANDS/ QUALITY COSMETIC CARE boxes). We want the colors to be solid/no gradient but we do want different shades of purples and other colors throughout homepage (does that make sense?)

We dont like how “where art meets science to create beautiful smiles” is in two different fonts.. this does not blend well. The overall appearance looks washed out and the different elements do not seem to blend well together..we would like more color/more aesthetic appearance when scrolling from top to bottom (we’re open to your suggestions as long as we stay within the purples/whites/silvers/creams theme overall. We also had the idea of incorporating magnolias (louisiana state flower) somehow into homepage to give a more aesthetic appearance (attached is an image I found that we love)

On a positive note, we like the 8 service icons (although we do want to change the photos!) We do not like the logo on bottom of JPEG in the grey. Logo needs to consistently stay in either purple or white/purple background. The scenery background behind thomas/ann photo also is not lafayette/louisiana themed and we would like it to read “WELCOME TO DENTAL ARTISTRY” instead of “WELCOME TO DR SAMMONS AND DR LAURENT”…

I had previously sent you our tentative wireframe for what we were looking to have on homepage (but we are open to other suggestions also). I have attached the practice philosophy/homepage/bios content we have worked on and would like to see incorporated. I will also forward you PDF of recent magazine article we would like linked on homepage and I will also be forwarding you link to photoshoot that was recently done at office if you think incorporating some of our images is an option.

We were under impression that icons on top of homepage would also be what we sent over in tentative wireframe: HOME/ ABOUT US/ ANXIETY FREE DENTISTRY/ SERVICES/ SMILE GALLERY/ CONTACT US

Again, we’ll follow your guidance if you believe certain things will look better for overall website appearance/function (you have far more experience with this than we do). Hope this is good feedback and we appreciate your work on this and for working with us!

If it would be more convenient for you to discuss any of this with me via phone my cell is 337.852.1937

**When/ at what stage of this process do you need all of the content we have worked on for the website so you can incorporate it with the stock content you provide? When will we be able to view this stock content?

**As we discussed via phone last week, have you been able to find out what the email transitioning process will look like for our office once this new website does go live?

    Important:

    – Use shade of purple utilized in logo (attached) but also use varying gradients of this color (example in website reference below)
    – Make the site modern, spa-like, elegant but don’t make it too feminine (one of the practicing doctors is male and didn’t want it overly feminine)
    – You can remove the logo from its shape if you want to – You may also break apart elements of the logo to rearrange it if needed.
    – For Hero image us a photo of a beautiful smiling woman
    – Tagline: “Where Art Meets Science to Create beautiful Smiles”
    – Put Office Summary section towards the top of the page

** Dr noted that Danny had told them that not including the footer link was fine – notified by Jan and Belinda that it is mandatory to include it (including it in white to where its almost invisible)

Interested in setting up HIPPA compliant emails

    – want to include google business listing onto the new website (they had stated that they didn’t want to open a new business listing, the one they have now isn’t the same business name but it does have one fo the doctors names mentioned in the new business name – let them know that this would be fine and shouldn’t be confusing for visitors to the site)

They wanted to integrate their old emails from outlook into the new website – told them that this wouldn’t be possible – Abbey was somewhat combative about this. I let her know that I would look into it further – She said she was open to using microsoft office.

Age group is general but mainly adults ranging from 30s – 40s

She wasn’t sure about incorporating a hero image – a hero slider or the diagonal elements cited in the first website example. I let her know that I would try to incorporate the 3 of them to see how it would look.

She liked the use of icons in batesdental.com, again, wasn’t sure on whether to go with image buttons or icons. – she was inclined to go with images, I agreed, but she was open to having icons incorporated into the website somewhere.

wants to retain a spa-like luxurious feel without having the website overly feminine.

    – Abbey (Dr’s wife), extremely sweet
    – they really want a custom from scratch NOT template which is their main concern. Also wants to stand out from their competitors and was wanting to not show “optimized360” in footer in the future cause they don’t want others to know who develop their site.

    – has logo and social already, please request from her.
    – she also has questionnaire link and was requesting interview for next tuesday at 4:30pm but i told her latest is 3:30pm but will see what we can do. Will update you soon as she responds if 3:30pm would work but worst case scenario, it may have to be 4:30pm CST since she said they are extremely busy.

How are the two $2500 payments split up? At start of project and then at project completion?

    Next Set of Q&A
    Leads | 2017-11-14 | Danny | #104702 |

    Hi Abbey,
Here are the answers to your next set of questions:

A few more questions on our end!
-before we sign the credit card authorization form to begin the process, is it possible for us to view the content (or should we simply review the provided websites in the gallery to get a good idea of what content looks like?)
Most definitely. We do provide all the patient library content for your specialty (dental) which are updated and rewritten on our end every now & then to diversify. A majority of our clients use it as the initial starting point vs having to come up with it from scratch, then rewrites the verbiages. Every Dr has a different perspective on the procedure even though its the same procedure. You can definitely reference some in our portfolio.

-similar to the dental video gallery/library that I’ve seen on optimize360 website, is there one like this for graphics? (Example: dental implant graphics, whitening graphics, etc)
we have access to photos for procedures which is included. this will be coordinated and discussed with the designer assigned to the project. There is no additional cost.

-is there a stock photo library/gallery that optimize360 uses also? Or are these pulled from shutterfly/ istock (I know these have to be purchased separately)
Stock photos we use for our clients are “royalty-free” images which we purchase for our clients upon request. We purchase them via a few different sites depending on the graphic. Some of these sites are istockphotos and bigstockphotos. “royalty-free” means that we will have a license for them so you don’t have to worry about copyright issues with not only the models but the photographer providing the photos. Here is an example of a client of ours that we purchased a high-resolution photo of Charlotte’s downtown per her request to use as part of the main design image: https://skyviewdentistrycharlotte.com/

-are there limitations/penalties as far as # of “revision rounds” with graphic design artist that we’ll be working with? What is the “standard” for revision rounds yall typically see and work with? I ask because I know we’ll want to tweak/refine a few rounds before going live
Our average rounds of revisions are about 3-5 depending on our client’s feedback. We put on there 3 but we technically don’t limit our clients because we want you to be 100% happy. It is there just in case we have 1 of those clients that expect over 20. You can rest-assure that we will not nickel/dime you like how other companies do. Many companies limit you to certain # of rounds of revision, design hours, concepts, etc. We have excellent G+ reviews for many reasons and client satisfaction is our #1 reason!

-once website Is published, as far as the SEO is concerned.. are there different offerings in the future for boosting search rankings in our specific city (Lafayette, Louisiana) vs boosting in surrounding cities (new Iberia/youngsville) ?
Most definitely, we offer cost-effective Marketing Programs that will cater to your budget based on your area and specialty. One great feature is that it is a MONTH to MONTH contract with full transparency, unlike other Marketing companies. This is important because you should not be obligated to a marketing program that may not work effectively in your area. We want you to get the ROI to continue without any obligations. We offer Marketing as a convenience for our Website Clients.
At near launched, we can reconnect on the Marketing options in which I will have my team do a competitor analysis so you can get an idea what your competitors are doing as far as marketing and how much they are allocating each month on average.

-with the monthly $149 maintenance fee, y’all will update content for us as we need correct? Will it be as simple as having our office manager emailing new procedure info/local magazine articles that we want to appear on website?
That is correct. The monthly fee is for Hosting/Maintenance which comes with on-demand updates (unlimited) and page additions (unlimited). This is just 1 of many standard features listed which are highlighted in the far left column of the proposal. We offer excellent Support for our clients in the future which you will experience and once again, this is also why we are 5-Star Rated on Google+ Business listing with over 190 reviews 🙂 . You can email, call, or submit a ticket from your account and our usual turn-around time depending on the amount of work is about 1-2 business days. Simple changes can be done within 1-day. If it is urgent, you can reach us during business hours.

Thank you and please do let me know if you have any further questions that I can clarify for you, Abbey!

My Response to Point out the Differences
    Leads | 2017-11-14 | Danny | #104421 |

    “Hi Abbey,
Thank you for sending this over! I am very familiar with yourpracticeonline.net . I will not say anything negative about other companies but will only point out to you the differences and what to expect from the last time that I did a comparison earlier this year.

    1. Their sites are “custom design” not “custom from scratch”. You will not see it referenced anywhere.
    2. There are also no references stating that you have Ownership or Exclusivity which are very valuable features that is offered with a truly Custom from Scratch website. This is standard with our sites.
    3. Their sites are still being developed in an HTML platform which is an older version vs ours built on a WordPress platform.
    4. It seems like they require an Annual Contract vs our Month to Month Contract. If you see there for their PREMIUM which is $2,000/yr in comparison to ours $149/m ($1,800/yr). ALWAYS avoid commitments because there is some sort of hidden costs or upsell of other “products”. The difference IF we did do annual like theirs is $200/year more and in 5 years, it will be that $1,000 difference in initial fee of their $4,000 vs $5,000 that I had quoted you.
    5. Their OWN Website looks HORRIBLE! Shows their design capability let alone their client’s showcase. Their client’s websites are nowhere near our quality!
Here are just a few that they are showcasing in their Dental Gallery from the US, most are internationals:
    http://www.northpointefamilydentist.com/
    http://www.doctorjyothi.com/

    Home

    6. Support: We have superior support in the future for our clients which shows in our G+ Business Listing. We are 5-Star rated with over 190 reviews… the highest among any Dental Web Design company in the US.

These are just a few things I want to point out to you 🙂 Thank you and let me know if you have any further questions that need clarification, Abbey!

    Wants to Match YourPracticeOnline.net
    Leads | 2017-11-14 | Danny | #104416 |

“Hi Danny! Have received the email and will be discussing with Thomas tonight- we’ll be in touch!

    Sent from my iPad”

    “Hi Danny,

We’ve had a chance to review everything this evening and we are very impressed with Optimized360’s quality sites! In your email, you stated that you will match and beat any other dental website design company proposal. Attached is a cost estimate we received from yourpracticeonline.com for a website startup fee of $4,000. Is this something you will be able to match?

Also, before we sign the credit card authorization form to begin the process, is it possible for us to view the content (or should we simply review the provided websites in gallery to get a good idea of what content looks like?)

    Thanks again,”

    Phone Conference
    Estimates | 2017-11-13 | Danny | #104134 |

Abbey called back, super nice. Stated that she is extremely busy and was calling during her lunch break. She apologized. They are shopping around right now but seems to be wanting to make a decision soon. She asked a lot of questions about the company basically interviewing and confirming some of her main questions. She stated that she wants to make sure no template. Have talked to 2 others that does what we do. Stated PRICING will be the determining factor but if company is legit, then they don’t mind paying a bit more. She stated that she’s gotten quote for around $3,000 to $4,000 which is somewhat within their budget. Also mentioned that they researched a lot of what they like and don’t like on their website which as long as she reference it with the designer, we can do it and that is part of the process anyways.

I gave her an overview of what we do compared to others when it comes to QPS and also pointed out some things to look out for that others are hiding. She liked that there’s no contract.

Just wants a basic website that is custom from scratch, has logo, has social.

Introduced her about the AwDA and also SSL. She was aware of the AwDA but not the SSL which i gave her overview of it and the importance of it especially since she brought up SEO.

She will be providing her own content but wants content if we have available as well whcih I confirmed we do and that they can rewrite.

Quoted her the Select ($4,499 + $99) which comes with SSL by default and add’ed a-la-cart the ADApt whcih is $499 + $49/m.

She asked to send the info so she can review with her husband.
She asked time-frame which I told her about 4-6 weeks. She said it may take her longer cause they are so busy at the office. I assured her we’ve streamlined and its all dependent on our clients availability. Told her its better that they do it at night after work anyways when both are at home and all they will need to do is reply with feedback and approval. She liked that.

Very nice and potentially very hot. Pricing could be an issue.

Abbey called, confirmed she got the email with the proposal and examples. She said her husband reviewed it already and loves it and that she will review it when she gets home. Had a quick question which is the option to remove the "Website by Opt360" in the future. Her reasoning is that her area is very competitive... I told her I understand her reason which was correct and that reason is she doesn't want others to know who is behind the great work.
