Question: What insurance carriers does Arthritis & Osteoporosis Center of Coastal Bend accept?
Answer: Please check eligibility and authorization for all procedures and infusion services prior to office visits**** Thank You.

Question: Do I need a referral for my insurance to see the doctor or have a test in the office?
Answer: Most HMO plans require a written referral for any care outside of your primary physician. Other insurance plans may or may not require pre-authorization. Please call the office to find out if self referral is appropriate or you could ask your primary doctor’s office or your insurance company. Our policy is that if you come for an appointment without a referral and your insurance requires one, you may pay in full for your visit or be rescheduled. Acquiring the proper referral is ultimately the patient’s responsibility.

Question: What do I need to bring for my appointment?
Answer: Please bring your insurance card(s), any pertinent medical records or x-rays, a list of medicines you are taking and a method of payment for your health services. Also, it is important to make sure you have the proper referral for your insurance, if it is required. Please also remember to show up about 30 minutes before your appointment time to complete paperwork or you may complete forms as indicated below.

Question: Are there forms I can fill out in advance of my appointment?
Answer: For faster service, a list of forms is available for printout online. If you need assistance completing any forms, please call our office during business hours. New patients can decrease their wait time by printing out all relevant forms here and bringing to your appointment.

Question: What happens if I am late for my appointment?
Answer: You may be asked to reschedule. Speak with the front desk staff if you arrive late and they will determine whether the doctor can see you.

Question: Do I have to pay at the time of my appointment?
Answer: Yes. If we participate with your insurance and the proper referral(s) are in place, you are only responsible for any deductibles, co-insurance or co-pays your insurance requires. All funds are payable in full at the time of your visit. If we do not accept your insurance or the proper referral is not in place then you will be required to pay in full for your visit. Any services that are not paid for in full on the same day will require payment of the full charge, to include checks presented at the time of service that are later returned for insufficient funds. If during any visits to the office, there is a balance on your account, our staff has been directed to collect the balance in addition to any deductibles, co-insurance or co-pays before your appointment.

Question: Does the office accept credit cards for payment?
Answer: Yes. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express for payments, in addition to cash, check, or money orders. Checks should be made payable to: Arthritis & Osteoporosis Center of Coastal Bend. Returned checks will be assessed a $25 fee.

Thanks for following up. I did received the email along with the quote. I like what we discussed but the concern on budget and cost of website itself with $4500 and $99/month after as I am still in the process of opening the practice and there is a lot of cost associate with it with build out, renovation, furniture, EMR system etc. Can you do the website for $3500 and lower the monthly cost to 69$/month?

Dr called back, extremely nice. Practice opening soon, has logo and social already.

Went over everything again as far as how we compare when t comes to QPS. (dr received initial email and saw the pointers and examples of current projects).

Proposed the Gold with 360 Shield going over the details of the features in the 360 shield. Spend some time telling him the importance of it. Dr stated that due to budgeting and depending on the cost of that, he will figure out the priority of features within it cause its a new practice.

based on my discussion, I had prioritized the SSL out of the other ones. I tested the pricing of 1 of the proposed packages Dr F sent for feedback which was basically GOLD with SSL at $4,499 + $99/m (see attached screenshot of it to confirm validity if order is processed in the future).

Dr brought up ZocDoc for an online schedule feature which I had pointed out that it does not do what he was telling me he’s looking for which is direct scheduling minimize his staff’s time. Dr was not aware that its through zocdoc which limits the audience and also does not integrate but instead he receives a notification like any contact form on the site to then contact them.

Discussed marketing with Dr giving him info on SEO and PPC and how it works with us vs others. Dr feels that bc he’s a rheumatologist and there’s only 1 other dr specializing in this, he should be fine for now until needed.

Sent dr proposal for his review and stated that he will get back to me. Client is convinced but iffy on his budget. Will f/u in a few days.
