Mentorship – Implant
Unfortunately, it is all too common for dentists to invest significant time and money into implant surgical education programmes but leave lacking the confidence to apply what they have learned when they return to their own practice.
Confidence in surgical implant dentistry only comes with clinical experience. Didactic education provides the required knowledge base, but confidence in performing these procedures only happens as we complete actual clinical cases.
Mentorship provides an opportunity for clinicians to treat their own patients under the guidance of a more experienced peer. The mentorship environment fosters the development of confidence.
Small Group Mentorship sessions are available. Peer to Peer. Limited to three participants, each participant will have the opportunity to treat up to three patients. In addition to your own cases, you will also observe the surgeries of the other participants in this collegial experience. The opportunity of being involved in the case workup and surgical treatment of nine clinical cases!
Included in the Mentorship program:
— Limited to three peers
— Assistance with all of the pre-surgical workup for each of your cases in advance of the surgical date.
— Full day of surgeries to be performed at Peer2Peer training centre
— Opportunity to complete up to three surgical cases (implants are additional fee)
— Enormous confidence booster!

“Can’t wait to see it! I really believe there is a deficiency out there for basic courses, sometimes I think it’s done on purpose so that a select few could do it. Most of what’s out there is like starting a beginner math student in calculus. This actually happened to me for real when I first moved to Canada. It was when grade 13 existed, and I thought sure I will do the one year and go right to university. I walk into the first class and it was calculus. I stare at the blackboard and the gibberish written on it, with everyone around me shaking their heads in understanding!! And I am thinking really, what the heck is this!!! Anyway, I had to do the math from the start so that I can understand calculus. That ended up costing me 3 years in high school 🙂 “
