Had a phone conference with dr last week. Didn’t have time to log call or send estimate until now cause Dr f/u with email response below:
“Hi Danny, haven’t heard from you. Do you still plan on sending me a proposal?”
responded back to dr letting him know that I was waiting for the analysis from marketing team to do my assessment to give him my recommendation as far as web and marketing.
HERE IS THE CONVO of our DISCUSSION last week.
Dr currently with patientpop. Not happy with them cause things were promised to him but never delivered. Skeptical with makreting in general after that. Told dr the importance of marketing especially in his area which is highly saturated. He claims that patients in his area will not look at his ad which i disputed that they do bc he’s in the upper east side which is no different from beverly hills. If he was in the countryside or age group is older where they don’t use the internet than yes it may not work and direct mail may be more beneficial. Dr agreed after i had pointed that out cause he himself would not click on ADs but told him otherwise and the importance fo r his area.
Gave him overview on what we do vs PatientPop when it comes to makreting (month to month, transparency with mgmt).
Also pointed out to him the importance of his website cause what he has right now is a template and there’s no exclusivity. He needs to develop a site that he owns and to accurately portray him and brand his practice for the future.
Dr at this point is reconsidering now circling back to ppc and seo after pointing these out. He asked if i can check and send him a proposal with the recommendations. Overall, dr needs advice and guidance and didn’t know where to start and what to do. Dr may be difficult to manage in the future but if I make things black and white and manage his expectation, it will reduce the risk in the future.
clarified with Dr that the min budget for us to do the campaign on his end will be around $650 which is almost equivalent to $100/m (15%).
