Because your website is so new (a couple hours old), search engines are still indexing the contents of your website, which usually takes around a month.

Social media accounts would help with this as well as they are different touch points throughout the web referencing yourself/practice and linking back to your website.

Regarding social media, once the pages are set up, simply provide the links and I will apply these links to their appropriate social media icons.

To prepare for going setting up a temporary site/making the website live, I can see through public records that you had registered the domain with Google. Can you provide me the login credentials to the gmail account that the domain was set up with so I can update the appropriate settings to enable the temporary site? If you are comfortable making the update yourself, here is a link to instructions on how to do so. It would be the first step, “Record Set”, which would be changed through the edit button to: 52.2.180.68

In regards to having the website ready by November 6th, that is cutting it very close as the development stage alone takes about a week/week and a half, but I will do my best to have the website completed or near completion by then! If not, I can always set up a temporary website so that visitors to your domain name will be able to access all of the necessary information they’d need to contact/locate your practice.

To help expedite this process, if you had any patient forms or any other content that you wanted to specifically include in terms of services, please provide files or text for these.

I’m giving you my thoughts now: I had some friends look at it as well to give me feedback.
1) There’s no indication that I’m a podiatrist. some friends said that it could look like a physical therapists office. How can we incorporate that on the home page?

2) Nobody, including myself, likes the photo of the very serious spectacled man on the second page. Can we use a woman instead since I am a female doctor? Also, will there be a place to upload my photo?

My name, address, phone number needs to be larger so it pops. Also, what will the mobile site look like? That’s more important as up to 60% of people search on their mobile devices.

I’m still working on implementing all of the changes and should have an updated draft for you on Monday or Tuesday.

Regarding the sites layout for mobile; The design itself will be fluid responsive, which actively adjusts to browser/screen sizes on various devices. So it really depends on the size screen which the viewer has. But, the design will be just as functional and will look good on mobile as well.

had a long phone call with Niraj (dr’s husband). Extremely nice. Taking on the task of inquiring for his wife who is a podiatrist, part of a group practice. This site is primarily to brand her (has logo already) and for her current patients. Not a priority for new patients until in the future.

He doesn’t know much about web and “seo”, has heard a bit about SEO. No site yet, it’ll be brand new.

I spent a long time educating him how Google works in general for all 3 sections of search results so he can connect the dots and know what others telling him and for him to know the advantages of it and the time frame.

Gave him overview of design process and how we compare when it comes to QPS and how important it is for SEO. Wants to focus on site and then in the future PPC and SEO while he works on G+.

He really liked tlaking to me and stated that i’ve spent more time with him and have so far educated him more than the others who was very fixated on SEO but less on web and any other marketing options.

He wants to reconnect with me later today or tomorrow which he will call cause he has to step into a meeting.

Quoted him the Gold and then later on PPC/SEO which i haven’t quoted yet but understands how each works.

Sent him the contract jsut in case he decides to sign electronically or fax to start but he seems to want to talk again later on today or tomorrow.
