Update effects for featured services so that the current hover effect is the default display (there should be no movement, just the current appearance of the hover effect over images)

1. Hello Rythmn, In the Meet the Doctors section, the image is currently there but I m not sure our other developer had input it correctly as the image is reverting to the old image that was there when the screen size is shrunken to a smaller size.

Please fix this. Please use this updated attache image as I have adjusted the size of the bricks

2. Replace hero image with attached

3. Add 50 year anniversary logo somewhere in hero area (you can adjust the size if you need to) have it slide in over the hero (this element will be removed sometime later in the year)

Please add this new attached image to replace the current one on the Meet the Doctors section

– He likes how the group picture is cropped and placed on a brick background – let him know that this would be done with the update photos that he provides as well

– We had also discussed including phone numbers under each location map on homepage or some text addage that an appointment can be scheduled for any location through any number.

– Contact forms should be for inquiries and intaking contact information – don’t want patients trying to schedule appointments through them – he had mentioned something about the verbiage of the buttons “schedule an appointment” and how he thought it should be changed to “contact us” – I let him know that I thought schedule an appointment was more appropriate as the page it leads to includes all of the contact information needed to schedule an appointment.

Hello Craig,

Craig called, a bit upset the monthly fees started as the website is “1/4” done. I explained our pricing policy. He kept going back to “conversations” he had had with Danny regarding us knowing he was going to self-host and therefore would not be charged the fees. Stated he had emails backing his argument. I requested these emails and he insisted it would be time-consuming to retrieve and that I should have Danny recall their conversations. He also stated the credit card was changed and we wouldn’t be able to continue charging regardless.

Belinda approved to waive one month $99 (February), recurring resumes 3/13/18. I emailed him confirmation of this and his contract.

– the page speed scores are better than what we had before 👍
– home; hero; the beige BG and the box on top of it makes the design looks like there’s an error. maybe a slightly lighter shade would offset a bit?

Attached are 2 more drafts that I have input bricks as backgrounds within some areas (applying it to all cream areas made the motif overwhelming in my opinion), for yours and the doctor’s consideration. Please let me know if you had liked either of these or preferred the previous design, and whether we would like to move into the development stage and begin inputting/refining the content.

– Gave him my opinion on including maps on homepage or office tour videos (let him know this would have to be done by 3rd party) He mentioned they werent sure about including videos regarding each office as theyre all different, some not as modern/current as the others – i let him know that it may cause confusion if only 1 or 2 office tour videos were provided on the home page – he agreed – will stick with maps

– he menitioned the location of the pinpoints of google images arent accurate – pinpoint should be below the M on mequon location and should be at top left of building for oak creek location – i let him know that google doesnt get this particular in regards to the actual office location within the building – which is why they have the suite number included

He talked about using the green and cream colors used in Milwaukee Bucks basketball team as there is historical significance behind these colors (color of bricks used, lots of forest green in and around the city).

Craig also mentioned making their logo monochrome as opposed to color (silver or cream color) as they dont really use the color version of their logo.

Craig mentioned that they liked all of the websites regarding endo in our gallery – purposefully didn’t include website examples so as not to constrain creative possibilities – didn’t want a copy of another Dr.s site (may be a good candidate to try a brand new design with). He wanted to have a discussion of the practice and the area and leave me with creative freedom to put something together. (can become very time consuming as he has no particulars)

– He wants something simple and easy to navigate – current site isnt very intuative

– Didn’t mention a preferred color ( Ill choose one typical for endodontic practices and explain to him why the color scheme works)

*** Notes about the practice:
Main location Is Wauwatosa with 3 satellite locations (listed on website) – He doesn’t want a specific doctor associated with a particular location as all 3 doctors frequent each location. They’re a paperless facility – everything done through web. Age range is very general. Its an older practice that’s been around for several decades which is a reason why current and prospective clients like it. Dr. Ferguson is longest practicing doctor -senior Dr. All locations have current equipment. Through the 3 locations, they cover the range of suburban/downtown clientele. The Oak Creek Facility is the newest location and is state of the art. Craig mentioned he wanted a site that is reflective of the office somewhat **Im having Craig send images of Oak Creek office as a reference for color and structure.

Wants to convey an inviting feeling + modernity + warmth + Refined + Welcoming + mentioned that he had liked a website example of one of his colleagues that was darker (maybe incorporate a subtle Bates feel).

Craig mentioned that Dr may want to host on his own from day 1 since they have ownership. It seems him and Dr. doesn’t know much about self-hosting and what that entails which I had mentioned that the scenario is usually when there’s an IT person in the office that doesn’t know how to develop but only maintain.

I had pointed out to him the technical aspects of self-hosting along with the value of our monthly fees and what it includes which is a lot for very minimal. He completely understands but this is a question the Dr had. I advised him to to at least stay for a few months so he can see how the support is with us which is excellent and at the same time, he’ll be able to learn the WP cms for day to day update vs self-hosting from day 1.

Option will be kept open at this point but for now, I’ve delayed it to let us host it.

– Craig – taking lead on this project for dr. but dr will be indirectly involved (feedback/approval in future)
– Craig used to be a patient of one of our other client (Dr. Nicole Anderson), moved to this area and was hired on by the current Dr. Craig advised dr to redevelop the site and very responsive communicating with the Dr to sign up with us.

Endodontic specialty – refer to their main site. He has seen some of our endo clients cause he had requested references (just fyi)

3 locations: make sure it is visible and organized (drop-down field on contact form)

migrate the Portal Links they currently have. (craig didn’t know much how those links work which is independent of the development we’re doing but does understand now after i had visually showed him the links are external). The point here is he’s not too tech savvy so you may need to try to keep things simple and in layman’s term. Try to visually explain if possible in the future vs assuming he would know the most basic things. I want to continue with the communication that I’ve been having with him prior transitioned over into the design process so that he can see the value staying with us vs self-hosting which is what the Dr’s intent is (not craig but dr’s). Craig can advocate for us in the future when the time comes to push dr to stay with us for hosting.

overall, pretty straight-forward. Craig is very nice & friendly but very professional (not the ‘joking’ type)

Craig had only 2 questions from the Drs after his meeting with them. They are very much interested but wanted to know what are the options if they don’t wnat to pay the $99/m and option to manage it on their own. Explained to him how we are able to give them that option because our sites are unique and they have ownership/exclusivity and more importantly no contract. Told him it is WP and user-friendly which he has heard of. Told him my recommendation is to let us host it for him for a few months so he gets acclimated with the day to day update and also the value of our monthly fee to decide if he wants to host on his own. he said that’s a good idea and thanked me for the suggestion.

The other question was the current endo software they are using and if it has any effect with what we do. Told him how it works by showing him online on his site how when he clicked on it, it takes the visitor away from the site through the portal that bridges to their practice management software. He does understand now that it is independent and as long as that service with them is still active, everythign they are currently doing will continue.

he appreciated all the explaination and stated that most likely they will be going with us cause they like our work and also the time I’ve spent with him educating and consulting him.

Told him the next step is to do the interview once I receive the contract and reiterated how streamlined the process will be. Very hot and will be starting soon.

Called Craig at our scheduled time. was transferred to his line. He was apologetic with the miscommunication withe the Calendly schedule the last week. very nice.

He stated he was referred to us by his previous dentist whom he was a patient and loved their site. He moved since then and is working at an endo group advisign them to update their site which is very basic and out-dated. Our client he came from was Nicole Anderson (Scott) which is my client.

Gave him overview of what we do and the process. Quoted him the Gold package cause they just wanted to revamp the site. Asked for some endo clients which I showed him a few. He didn’t really go through our portfolio but advised him to. He got my original email but didn’t look through it as well.

Told him i’ll send him the proposal and include all the bulleted points along with examples of endo clients and also recently developed sites. He seems to want to make sure we are focused on not only Dental but Endo. Very nice. will review with the drs.
