Called, spoke to Liza. Wanted assurance of preservation of the rankign for both which I had addressed already. Wanted recommendation on how to go about “merging” the 2 sites cause they are 2 separate specialties. Wanted to do something similar to egrari.com which is 1 domain but direct them to specific part of the site.

Recommended to her to not remove any domain but to isntead create a home page similar to egrari then they can either enter or redirect to the other site. She agreed and liked that idea and suggestion vs consolidating the domain. Also told her to take advantage of hte additoinal search result with the 2 domains cause hard part is to get them to the site, directing them where is easy and can be accomplish on our end based on the direction of the design.

I told her my original quote was only for 1 but there’s 2 and because she wants the same design, i had quoted her a duplication of the main once its done but personalized based on that speciality.

The content will be migrated from each site to the new design cause she handles all the custom content and marketing. Secondly she will be hosting it on her own cause she knows how to manage and wnats to continue to manage.

She will talk to dr and get back to me. Told her i’ll email her an updated proposal for this. She said she will get back to me sometime next week.

We are considering a redesign of both of our websites (fayplasticsurgery.com & capefearaesthetics.com). I do the marketing and web content management for the company as well as updates or content creation. Biggest concerns are preservation of SEO standings and overall cohesiveness between the two websites to reflect that they are “sister” companies. Would like to change color palette to teal/gray/white/black. Please contact me by email with options and price point. Goal is to have this finished no later than mid January.

We REALLY like the idea of a front page like this: https://www.egrari.com/ that would organize or redirect our information to one main starting domain and then split to two branches (you’ll notice that once the branches are visited, there is a button that remains visible to take the visitor back and forth from one branch of the company to the other). Not sure how this should be approached from the standpoint of SEO preservation (keep both domains? keep both and add a new front page domain? merge to a single one?) – our organic SEO is currently pretty strong for both websites.

We are looking to keep roughly the same number of pages that currently exist on each website, give or take. Not looking for ongoing services after set up, just the website design and any relevant instructions for manual updates. Please let me know if you need any more information.”

Sent intro email. Addressed her concerns regarding the SEO ranking and also time-line of project. Showed screenshot of a client that reviewed us regarding this concern. Showed her more cosmetic design examples.
