Hello Taaj,
Regarding emails:

I’m sorry I actually misinformed you about the emails. The forwarding options actually only forwards the messages to the designated email account (the ones you had provided). To respond/send out as the email associated with the domain name the email account has to exist in GoDaddy as well. So I would have to create email accounts for you on our account which, we charge $5 per account after the 1st account (1st account is free of charge).

Another option that my supervisor suggested was using G suite, as they charge the same as we do, but the platform is much more flexible and integrated in regards to sharing/storing information. (With G suite you would be able to send emails using the email associated with the domain name as well. All you would have to do is update the MX record, which we can provide you when ready – Also, all attachments are stored and shareable through googles cloud-based storage, googledrive).

So in all, both services charge the same but G suite would be a platform that would be easier to manage/store/share information. To whereas Godaddys option (Workspace), attachments would have to be downloaded to be viewed and wouldn’t be in a cloud-based system.

Please let me know how you would like to proceed when the time comes.

Thank you for speaking with me today. I hope that gave you some clarification regarding the emails!
I double checked with our accountant the pricing you had paid for the previous websites, and the duplicates were all $3,500 (not $2,500). So the 4th site would be the same cost as the 2 other duplicate sites. Our packages have been updated to include SSL and ADApt (both of which are becoming requirements/enforced for medical websites) because you have several sites with us already, I got approval to include these for all of your websites free of charge which, is a savings of over $2,000 for initial and $50 for monthly. (the blue accessible button you see on Alameda and Alvarado sites were ADApt)

Explained to taaj email forwarding, which he is interested in. Theyre currently with a 3rd party that runs a g suite for them (may be similar to our setup) I asked him to verify if he can get complete access and take over this service from the 3rd party they are using – otherwise, they may have to set everything up again through a separate g suite account.

Confirmed that they do want a 4th site – and will call us next week regarding starting the process (duplicating – changing contact info/images/colors).

Explained to him what ADapt was (theyre currently visible on two of their sites) and let him know that they will be implemented for all sites since theyre are getting a 4th site.

Tajj asked why they were paying more for the new site – quoted at $3500 – im sure they paid 4000 initially and 3500 – asked chan to put together an order report for all of their sites for me to send to him to show that they are paying the same (discounted price – as well as including SSL and ADApt FREE OF CHARGE) – $3500

The settings can be updated on your end so that the gmail accounts that are being used to receive the forwarded emails, will also reflect the email address alias, when responding to recipients of your messages. But in short yes, you can send emails from gmail in which your email alias address, is what the recipient sees.

3. Just for my understanding, as I will be helping you in Jans absence, you currently have 3 sites:

Regarding the quote for another site – the duplicate site would be an initial fee of $3,500 + $249/m. I was also informed that because you have several sites with us already, that we will include implementing SSL and ADApt on ALL of your sites, free of charge. SSL adds another level of encryption and security to your website and ADApt will allow your site be toggled into a more accessible version to visitors with disabilities.

4. For the emails, you have a couple options:

1. Set up multiple emails associated with each site domain name. The cost for this is $5/month per email account (aside from the first email, which we provide free of charge) This would be added to the monthly fee. Once set up, login credentials would be provided to you for each account.
2. We can set up email forwarding where we create the emails with the associated domain names and have them forwarded to an external email account that you had created – for example, we set up info@torrandentalassocaites.com which all messages sent to this address would be forwarded to an email you had set up such as infoTDA@gmail.com. Email forwarding is free of charge. You would just have to set up a separate email for each email address that you would like us to add.

4) When we first created the Torrance website, we were told we could get a certain number of emails included with each website. I hope all is going well! I am not sure if you or Jan would be the person to speak to on this matter but since you got us started I would like to begin with you. We have finished the site for our Torrance office, but as you know we still do have 3 other offices that will too need new websites in time. We would like the exact same look for the new websites, just with different color schemes which I assume is just a matter of using the same code and switching out the CSS color codes. Would the cost of copying the sites for the new offices still be the $4000 that the Torrance site was considering that no extra work would be put into building a site from scratch?
