Linda called, very nice. had a few more questions to log for the dr. Question was what was “patient library” in the features.

explained that they are education library.

She mentioend that some of our clients had the same content. Told her that it comes with custom content which we will write up to 10 for them to promote the procedures for SEO which is what they want to focus on. Told her that some of our clients care more about the branding of the site and eventually will start rewriting verbiages but even so, we have updated library every now and then.

Linda completely understands and it made sense. Assured her overall that we will focus on the content for her.

She said they actually have until Aug 20th not Aug 1st before the other company shuts down the site. Told her that’s great cause it’ll give us more time to put up a temp site prior to Aug 20th.

She will get back to me hopefully soon with a decision.

Linda called in. Looking to swtich from OrthoSesame. Had a site with them for years now, site was shut down last week, contacted them and was told that they notified them earlier this year regarding a server upgrade which required them to switch design (Basically paying for a new design). Site is currently up right now and supposedly will be shutting down again at the end of the month.

told her that this is not new to me and that we had a lot of clients like her who have switched over to us for this reason, basically Sesame’s way of pushing clients into a corner to pay for another design that that is “compatible” with their new server. She wasn’t buying it.

Both domains are in Sesame’s control (hb-dds.com which is redirected to drbrandenburg.com). They want to use HB-DDS.com as main and remove the current one. Suggested to her to keep it for at least a year, redirecting it to HB-DDS.com and the phase it out. She agrees with me and it made sense after I explained why.

Linda was super nice and will discuss with dr tomorrow. They are on a time crunch before sesame shuts it down soon. It is possible they may pay for 1 month cause she asked what i think and i told her that they will try to sell her to stay aggressively but told her to avoid their tempation bc that tactic they did is not a good company practice as a whole for any business. She agrees. Assured her our good reviews and our work.

Logistically, told her what to do which is to focus on getting a temp site up first, have sesaem point domain to us, then do domain migration to our GoDaddy account, then start the design process.

She is leaving the office and will have time to talk to dr tomorrow, hot lead and basically RTO if Dr is ok with the pricing.

Sent proposal along with step by step instructions.
