my response: "Anna,
Impressions do not cost anything. Impressions mean how many times it was displayed/visible after the keyword/s in your campaign was used to search. Its when the CLICK on it which takes them to your site. This is why Google Ad Campaign calls it PPC which is PAY-PER-CLICK. It is the most cost-effective marketing you can do today cause it targets only those prospective patients searching for you.
Yes, the Avg Cost Per Click for last month is about $3.51 - This will always vary based on the SPECIALTY and LOCATION (COVERAGE) which are all part of the settings and adjustments... there are other factors involved as well within the structure that will make an impact on the cost per click.
For General Dentistry campaign such as Midtown, the cost per click will definitely be higher by at least double because of the # of GP Practices vs SPECIALIST (ENDO). Secondly, there are a lot more keywords vs the ENDO specialty so the budget needs to be enough to accommodate all those keywords without taking away from the bidding of each keyword.
The keywords I had mentioned in my previous emails are just an example and are just a few. What we will do when we setup the campaign for the MIDTOWN office is an analysis of the current competitors doing the ADs right now. From there, we will also compare it with Google's analysis which will provide us relevant keywords in that area that has "high search volume" which we will allocate a majority of the budget towards. Google collects data on all the keywords that are typed in their search engine bar specifically for that area. We will want to prioritize your budget towards good quality keywords vs going with over 20-30 keywords. When you go with a lot of keywords, you're diluting your budget taking away from keywords with high search volume. For example, you don't want to waste clicks on keywords such as "exam", "teeth cleaning", "fillings", etc. But instead target patients searching for "dentist", "cosmetic dentist", "dental implants", etc. Once again, leave this to us as part of our setup.
The Madison Campaign, there is no management fee because you are a website client of ours which we are managing the website.
For the MIDTOWN, because that site is not managed by us and is not technically our client... our management fee is $300/m (flat rate) + your Marketing Budget for Google. This is what we charge clients that are non-website clients who has a website with another company but wants us to handle the Marketing campaign which as you may know works independent of the Website. What I can do is to waive this fee for you since Simon and I go way back and he's been loyal to me :)
Like any marketing campaigns, we do not require any contracts. It is on a month to month basis which is how all Marketing contracts should be so there are no obligations. We want to make sure our clients get the ROI to continue. Avoid any company who requires even a 4 to 6-month contract.
Thank you and let me know if this clarifies your questions and/or if you have anymore Anna.

"I see.
What keywords would you target for midtowndental? In addition to what you've listed. I think there are a lot more phrases and words combinations people are searching for that we'd like to attract.
Also, what budget do you suggest we start with for this office?
If my understanding correct, endo website uses $1500 budget on clicks. Which comes to $3.51 per click last month. Or is $1500 monthly includes your management fees as well? How much does it impression cost? I am just trying to understand how PPC works. Cost analysis.
Also, for endo website-so you change keywords monthly?
Thanks
Anna
