Doctor called – site was not working

Getting confirmation of their GoDaddy account to reset A record. It is pointing to another number.

She wants to know what exactly is included in her package, what has already been implemented and what else can be done to further improve her SEO and search engine ranking.

– Interested in setting up social media (too busy to do herself but may have to if she doesnt want to spend more money) – may have to upgrade her to Connect which includes SM setup – She’ll have to pay the difference – Send her screenshot of what is included in Connect package and briefly explain the extras shes getting and how they would help.

– Wants to start ranking higher in the search engine.

“Takes about 6 months to even rank” depending on the efforts put into SEO but 10 hours monthly is not enough hours to get substantial results in a short period of time.

Response:
The emails will be setup in your godaddy account as the domain will soon be in this account. You would login to your account >top right tab of your name navigate to “My Products” and there you’ll see options for “Email & Office” as well as “Workspace Email”. From either of those options that you choose, you can click “Manage” then “Create”. I believe the domain name must be in your account first, to setup the email. Here are directions to setup a workspace email:

To create emails associated with the domain name, I believe the domain name has to be in your account. I’ve initiated the transfer process which you should be receiving an email regarding this. (I had told Ladan that there was a more complicated process for domain name transferring and that I would email further instructions on how to do so, – I saw in your account notes that you already had a godaddy account which, a godaddy to godaddy transfer is fairly simple)

Thanks for the new design. We are getting close. Couple of suggestions:

1) Can we make sure we toggle few pictures on the front page as per Tulsa Dental?
2) Can you make the Doctor’s section similar to Tulsa where there is a list of procedures next to the doctor’s picture? This would allow people to see all the procedures available and go to them directly. Also, the way that it moves when you go over each procedure is good.
3) I guess in conclusion, you can use the entire concept of Tulsa, including internal pages, as we really like their website. Also, because it is in the US, there should be no conflict if our website looks similar to theirs.

I spoke to Justin in regards to transferring the domain to you. I just wanted to verify whether you already had a Goddady account that I can transfer the domain name to? If not, no worries, I can create one for you, and initiate the transfer myself (when initiated you will be notified by Godaddy to confirm the transfer).

Please be advised that once the transfer goes through, Godaddy has a rule that if the account hosting the Domain Name is separate from the account hosting the website, the account where the domain resides is the one where emails will have to be set up. Also as you will be managing the emails in your account, we will not be able to provide support should any issues arise with the email accounts.

Begin Process of transferring domain to client – refer to ticket #84136 “Adding Design Ownership”

Client called and was upset that Ownership was not included in his account.

I expressed to him that due to his budget, we had originally discussed to move the Ownership a la carte to bring the initial down from $4k to $3k.

We also matched a proposal he had sent over.

He said that if he knew (which I made sure he knew)prior to proceeding, he would not have agreed.

He is happy with the site but wants ownership or he will dispute.

Told him I will talk to my accounting department and get back to him.

I noticed in the competitor’s proposa it said:
“Moreover, we will create a custom website for you on WordPress platform that gets deployed with 100% ownership rights.”

Will include for client so it will not cause any issues.

Were there any other edits in regards to the structure and different sections? Do you like the color scheme? The next phase would be the development of your website, which will make your site functional. But please be advised that once we enter this step, we cannot go back and make changes to the layout or color as this would entail some major coding changes on our end and will come at an additional cost (cost dependent on the extent of the requested changes).
