Hello Paul, Dr. Sibley, and Sharon

The initial concept that was approved was developed and coded on our server. Please note that we did discuss putting this design on hold till the team has come to a final decision on the design and structure of the site. You still have the option to change the design in the future, we will be offering a free re-design.

The reason for this website development was to be able to show you how the design concept, a flat image, will appear slightly different and function differently when it is a website. This does not mean we cannot change this design. Once we have a different direction, we can start the design process again and work towards a website Dr. Sibley likes.

Again, we want to make clarify that this is not the finalized custom website for Dr. Sibley unless he wants to continue with the design and make some minor changes.

We encourage you to schedule a call to go over the details of the functional site. Please take a look at the website and let us know of any page changes, additions and/or questions you might have.

Called the office. Spoke to Paul briefy. Dr. Sibley wanted to discuss some minor things about the design. Waiting to hear back from them.

    From Sharon:
"Hi Jessica, here are some of the changes Dr Sibley would like made:

    1. Change the social networking icons to a black background and white outline, it's "too busy" where it is now and he would like for it to be moved down the page
    2. Center the "to make an appointment" box under where the address and phone number is
Lastly, are we able to make edits and adjust the site on our own so that we can avoid the back and forth for minor adjustments?

    All the best,

    Sharon "

    Website & Logo Notes 11/20
    Notes | 2017-11-20 | jessica.c | #105855 |

Spoke with Paul regarding Dr. Sibley’s design.

He did like the look of the logo seen on the website design. A few notes:
+Move Orthopaedic & Non-Surgical into two separate columns. (One on the left and one on the right. These should be centered in their respective columns. Indented on the sides)
+Try Logo 2 from (https://360controlpanel.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Sibley-logo-5.jpg). The swoosh should be yellow.
+Include each logo on a website design

    Website Notes:

    Navigation/Header:

+Remove the address for Arcadia & replace with “Schedule an apppointment” button (Make this text smaller)
+Place the phone number bellow the ‘schedule an appointment’ cta. (Text White)
+Include the city & zip code for the Huntington drive location

    Slider:

+Do not crop the top of the photo/satellite (Dr. Sibley would like to see the whole thing)
+Remove the text excerpt & place text at the top right of the photo. (Text: “It’s About Time! Orthopedic Breakthrough for Back & Neck Problems!)

    Sibley Spine Center Section:

+Add padding between this section & slider
+Replace the spine picture with collage/window for multiple images (Try a design with one picture of doctor looking at spine xray (https://360controlpanel.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Kollmorgen-_1.jpg))
+Add spacing between the text & image

    Orthopaedic Section

+Replace with a golfer, ballet dance or runner. (Try a design with all three)
+Tennis player needs to look more professional, not casula

    Patient Success Stories:

+Dr. Sibley will provide notes for this section at a later time.

    Location Section:

    +Remove Arcadia Office
    +Remove “Our” text
+Move the address box out of the map and below it.

+Directions to the clinic below the map
+Try a design with the text to the right of the map (Plan for two maps in the future)
    +Center the map

    Website Examples
    Notes | 2017-11-07 | jessica.c | #103031 |

    Hi Jessica,

I’ll start this thread for now. I’ll add on website links that he liked and I’ll also add a description of what exactly he liked about it.

    – This is the one we just spoke with you about over the phone.
    – The golfer, how he is the focus due to the blurred background.
    – Dark background with light lettering in certain sections as you scroll down.

    – This is one you originally sent us
    – He seemed to like this the most out of all the other website that you provided. Mostly for the dark background color and playful colors.

-He really likes this website – particularly the black and white contrasting background.
    -It’s clean and attention grabbing.
-He’s not necessarily saying he would like this exact color scheme for his own website but hopefully it gives you an idea about the themes Dr. Sibley likes.
    – Don’t pay too much attention to the organization of the page. Just focus mainly on the color scheme with the words and background.

    at 2pm PST.

Paul scheduled a time to discuss Dr. Sibley’s feedback regarding the website design examples that we have sent him. We need to narrow down what he wants and make sure what notes we are receiving from Paul are what Dr. Sibley wants.

Logo will also be discussed as Dr. Sibley was not happy with the previous designs and we do not want to produce logos that he does not like.

    Hello Dr. Sibley/Terrin,

My name is Belinda and I am the Creative Director here at Optimized360.

I spoke with Jessica regarding Dr. Sibley’s concerns and would like to ensure that we’re providing a quality product, in a timely manner. Both Jessica and I agree that we are not meeting the usual milestones that we do so often. Please let me know if we can set up a call to discuss the website and logo moving forward. Website Example F/U
    Notes | 2017-11-03 | jessica.c | #101846 |

    From Paul:
    “Hi Jessica,

This is Paul from Dr. Sibley’s office, I will be taking over for Terrin.

I went over these site design samples, here is his feedback:

    1. He likes the dark background of the Kollmorgen site, the way the colors varies in intensity, and how it can blend smoothly with the images. He also liked how the red and yellow colors (in the skeleton) stands out in contrast with that dark background. There was a “good color and design balance” in this site.

    2. Similar to the previous comment, he liked the dark background and the way the colors contrasted in the home page(staff background picture) of Khavkin Clinic site. He doesn’t necessarily want to use these colors, but just liked the contrasting dark colors.

    3. He is interested in utilizing a photo that I attached as a possible home page background photo.

    4. In the Kollmorgen site, there is a picture of a women reviewing an x-ray of a hip. Dr. Sibley would like to utilize a picture like that, but the x-ray (or MRI) being that of the lumbar spine.

    5. In the Kollmorgen site, in the location section, he liked the google map that showed the clinic location, but would also like step by step directions below that as to how to get there from various locations (the text of which we could provide). Again here, he liked the contrast of that white map vs. the dark background.

    6. He liked the separateness of the “Make an Appointment” button at the top of the Corona Foot and Ankle Group site and how that stands out.

    7. Some tabs/pages he would like are: Home, About Us, Testimonials (possibly having subdivisions for patient testimonials and physician testimonials), New Patients, Make an Appointment (as discussed in #5), and Contact (google map, address, step-by-step directions, phone/fax).

    8. In regards to the tabs/pages, is there a limit to how many we can have? He had a lot of ideas for different tabs and was wondering if it is possible to add them as the site is being developed or after the site is live. For example, once the site is live and has a row of tabs on the top page, is it possible to add a second row of tabs just below it for other tabs he may want to add?

This is the feedback he has for now, I will let you know if we have more later. Please let me know what you think and feel free to send us other examples of site designs. I will be in the office today until 3pm and next week on Tues, Thurs, and Fri.

Also, may I get an update on the logo? I did not have a chance to speak with Terrin about that.

    -Paul

I have reached out to Paul to discuss the feedback over the phone. I want to make sure we are producing website designs and logos that Dr. Sibley would like.

    Complaint
    Complaint | 2017-10-30 | jessica.c | #100269 |

Dr. Sibley is not happy that we cannot create his website and logo at the same time. I specifically asked Dr. Sibley if he would like his logo or website started first as they are both big endeavors to complete. He agreed to start on his logo.

From the beginning of the logo process, Dr. Sibley was not able to communicate what type of design he wanted by wanted to be “Wowed”. I had to explain to him that his tastes are everyone’s taste are different. Based on his logo DQ we produced a number of concepts for him. We did not have much to go off of and this was pointed out to the doctor. He was not happy with the first set and so we have worked on producing new concepts each new round. Terrin, who was the main point of contact would send over different logo examples that we gave to Dr. Sibley with each new set of concepts. He does not know how to communicate what type of logo design he wants but what he does not want. I have explained to Terrin that we need time to make new logo concepts and she has submitted new logo examples days after our conversations, making the process longer for both parties. Even then, Dr. Sibley is not happy with the quality of the desings.

He wants both the logo and the website to be worked on at the same time, which I have told him can be done at this point but he also wants results fast. He is also not happy about the pricing for his package. I explained to him that it pricing is split up into two payments, that the second half is charged 30 days after the start of the project, despite where we are in the design process. He did not like this answer as he feels we have “not done anything” yet for him.

What I have been receiving from Terrin are notes to continue with the logo designs we have made thus far but I am getting something different feedback from Dr. Sibley.

    Notes from Terrin:
“One more thing to add, Jessica:

    http://scoistemcell.com/

He really likes this website – particularly the black and white contrasting background. It’s clean and attention grabbing. He’s not necessarily saying he would like this exact color scheme for his own website but hopefully it gives you an idea about the themes Dr. Sibley likes. Don’t pay too much attention to the organization of the page. Just focus mainly on the color scheme with the words and background.

    Thank you,
    Terrin”

    Logo Design Notes
    Notes | 2017-10-25 | jessica.c | #99227 |

    Notes from Terrin:
    “Hi Jessica,

Dr. Sibley went over the logos today and had some comments.

First, he saw another logo that he really liked (see attached pdf). He’s a big fan of the color scheme and wants to see if we can incorporate the same colors into our design. Notice how the gold/yellow accent is just that – an accent. It’s simple, sleek, and clever.

Going onto the designs sent by you:

    1) He likes the top row only. For logo #1, there seems to be something off about the curve. The tail is a bit thicker than last time, and the curve just looks…different. He’s not sure if he’s a fan of it over the original one (#6 on previous draft). Can you make 3ish logos based off the swish from logo #1 with different variations in shape?

    2) He likes the symmetry a lot in logo #2. The thing he wants to change is the direction. Instead of having the curve go from top to bottom, we want it to go from bottom to top. So essentially reverse it.

    3) Logo #3 is “alright.” The maroon is nice and he likes how it’s the same color as the second text line.

    4) One thing to note is that he wants it to go “Orthopaedic l Non-Surgical” – orthopaedic must come first.

    5) For all the second text lines, can you squish the spacings between the individual letters together, but increase the space between the two words?

    6) He likes how logo #1 has “Orthopaedic” and “Non-Surgical” spaced at the ends, but wants it indented a little. Please apply this to #1-3.

    7) See if you can come up with any new designs with the same type of “artistic” logo symbol like the attached image. He does like the three logos from this draft, but he’s considering having a small image next to his name instead.

Please let me know if you need any more info for the next draft.

    Best,
    Terrin”

    Logo Design Notes
    Notes | 2017-10-18 | jessica.c | #97054 |

    From Terrin:
    “Hello Jessica,

Thank you for sending the logo drafts. I’ve spoken with Dr. Sibley and he is excited about getting closer to the final product. Here are his comments:

    1) His favorite is #6. He enjoys the simplicity and sleekness of the font, as well as the swoosh that goes through the name. We’d like to start working on variations of this specific logo now and all the comments refer to #6.

    2) The words “Non-Surgical” and “orthopaedic” should be separated further such that it is not thought of as one phrase. Can we see some drafts that play with the spacing of the words? Maybe Non-Surgical aligned on the far left, Orthopaedic on the far right…or maybe just larger spacing.

    3) The swoosh tail on the upper part of the logo seems like it is not aligned. Also want to see variations of the swish, though we like the original.

    4) “Non-Surgical Orthopaedic” is slightly too small. We’d like to see it a little larger, or perhaps bold so it’s easier to read. Do not make it drastically bigger, just maybe one font size larger or half a font size.

    5) Dr. Sibley likes the grey color for the lower text line, but thought maroon may look good too. Please play around with different shades of red/maroon. It should not be overwhelming, and instead give a nice touch to the logo.

    6) Can we see more fonts similar to the one used for “Sibley Spine Center” – we want something a little bit more artistic, or maybe variations in sizing. Perhaps shrink the height just a tad… This refers only to the top line. We like the font of the bottom line.

Thank you for everything so far. We look forward to your response!

    Best,
    Terrin”

Overall the doctor was not very impressed with these designs. They are VERY BASIC. We need more thought and design put into them. Stylize the text, use deeper/richer reds (maroon, burgundy) and deeper/richer blues. We need more variety, especially with the graphic elements. We also need more elegance/professional look.

    Design #1 :
    https://360controlpanel.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/sibley-2.jpg
-Design 4 reduce the height and increase the width of the text
-Have “Non-surgical” text on the left and “orthopaedic” text on the right
    -Wants richer colors

    Design #2:
    https://360controlpanel.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/SSC-shield-logo.jpg
    -Design 1
-Remove Dr. Sibley name from the logo and put “Sibley Spine Center”
-Have the name of the practice
    -Bold lettering for text
    -Remove ‘Advanced’ from the slogan’

    Design #3:
    https://360controlpanel.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/sibley-2.jpg
    -Likes 9
    -SSC is too big
-Vertically layout of the letters and spell it out
-Lettering more like https://360controlpanel.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/SSC-shield-logo.jpg (use font from design 1)
-likes that the letter is stylized

    Design #4:

    -Design 5

The fonts need more design put into them. Try using more spacing between the letters. Try having the practice name letters in dark blue/navy. Also give me some a few designs inspired by https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/40/ULTA_Beauty_Logo.png

Terrin finally sent me over a design that Dr. Sibley likes for ULTA Beauty. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/40/ULTA_Beauty_Logo.png

See if we can come up with a design or two to incoporate this.

I feel like the ones the clients referred to had more graphics and effects than what we have.

https://360controlpanel.com/client/general_images/design/logo-design/31.jpeg -- this one has a shield, maybe we can do something with a shield and initials.

https://360controlpanel.com/client/general_images/design/logo-design/4.jpeg -- the text is a little bit bold, and we don't have boldness or shadows.

Spoke with Terrin. Dr. Sibley is still working on the DQ for the website and does not have a clear idea of what he wants yet. He will fill it out and schedule a time to discuss the website. The logo DQ has also been sent to give Dr. Sibley time to brainstorm for his logo. He may want to discuss both during a scheduled call. I did inform Terrin that logo and website are done at different times.

    Hello Terrin and Dr. Sibley,

    Welcome to Optimized360!

My name is Jessica and I will be the designer working with you every step of the way, starting from concept to going live! I had a quick meeting with your account consultant earlier to discuss your account and review the notes you initially had.

Please take a few minutes to fill out our design questionnaire below. This should give you a better idea of the variety of elements that are featured in an effective design.

    URL: https://form.jotform.us/61947943668171

After we gain a better sense of what you are looking for I can start the design process. If it is easier for you to explain this via phone we can schedule a phone interview instead.

    Schedule a Call: https://calendly.com/optimized360/calls

I look forward to working on this design with you.

    Hi Justin,

Dr. Sibley appreciates the gesture to lower the hosting fee and waive it for the rest of the year. He is going to mull it over tonight and we’ll hopefully have a definitely answer tomorrow for you. If you could send the written proposal stating the revisions are based on client satisfaction, that would be great.

    Thanks,
    Terrin

spoke with Terrin - told her I can do $59/m and 2017 monthly fee waived - she will talk to doctor and get back to me if they want to move forward or not
    2017-09-06 | justinn
Justin, I've spoken to Dr. Sibley and it seems that the monthly fee has become a deciding factor. He understands there can be liability concerns with paying on a set fee basis, but that can be resolved by creating a contract that states you're not responsible for any issues unrelated to what is being fixed. Dr. Sibley liked what your proposal offered but if there isn't a way to meet in the middle by either negotiating a lower hosting fee price or offering support on a pay by project basis, he may need to consider other options. I appreciate all your efforts and communication, and hope we can come to some agreement soon. Best, Terrin
    2017-09-06 | justinn
Justin, I appreciate the reassurance about not running into issues. Dr. Sibley is just concerned about having optional support if needed. I understand that you cannot provide any services while the website is managed by us, but if we decide in the future to pay the monthly hosting fee will it still be available? In addition, we currently have one other website designer who can offer support on a set-rate basis once the website is completed (For ex. $__ for resolving technical issues on front page). This would only be necessary if his office staff is unable to resolve the issue themselves. If it is absolutely not negotiable to offer this, I will let him know but we're hoping we can work something out. Thank you, Terrin
    2017-09-06 | justinn
Hi Justin, Thanks for the speedy reply. I'll show these to Dr. Sibley so things can move forward. I'd also just like to clarify how we would receive support once Dr. Sibley chooses to have the website hosted on his server and discontinue the hosting fee. For ex. if he needed technical help with the website updates and wanted Optimized360 to do it, how would the payment work? Would it be a one time fee negotiated before support is provided? Or would he just pay the 79 for that month... Best, Terrin

Updated Proposal – pushing for Gold for business meeting

    2017-08-15 | justinn
Spoke with Dr. Sibley and staff - had a great conversation - he was looking between us and 2 other companies - other companies provided him with an all inclusive package - I pushed him to go with the Gold vs Silver based on what he was looking for - gave him the perspective of my gameplan which makes more practical sense and showed him Thoracic Surgeon in Santa Monica - he was iffy about add ons but I told him it would be much more cost effective that way - other companies are adding social marketing which they supply content themselves anyways and it will be generic content - told him it is not as important to have that yet - he needs a logo design as well which I had quoted him for $500 to keep the cost down - educated him a little bit more regarding certain things with website and marketing - he wanted to speak with his staff and get back to me - said over all I did well and he liked what I had presented - only thing he was afraid of is being nickel and dimed for everything
