Had a long convo in regards to his PPC campaign performance and wanting to increase his monthly budget to $1k from $500. I highly recommended we do a minimum of 1k a month to gain a bigger coverage on the Newport location. Was interested in potentially setting up Social media for his website. He also gave me a list of competitors to base our advertisements for when increasing our budget for the campaign. Also he mentioned that they had the most reviews amongst every other “Newport” dental practice. As I recommended we mention that in the NEW Ad copy to gain more eyeballs on our Ads. Will craft a FU email for doctor with all the information we spoke about as well as the increase on his Adwords campaign and quote on social media.

Hi Monica,

I left a voicemail at the office but looks like you guys are closed. Just wanted to get a better idea what you were looking for. When you mentioned the “Leave a Review” link, did you want a text link on the site? That may be a better solution for elderly patients rather than having them translate an icon such as G+ or Yelp.

Because of the limits of this type of site, we wouldn’t be able to add a text link where the blue social icons are currently located. We can add a “Leave a Review” text link in the top menu. This will make it very straight forward for elderly and it’s also at the very top of the site.

Spoke to Monica reconnecting on Custom Website Design that we had discussed a few months ago. The current site was transitional to cancel with previous web developer. Previously quoted her $2,500. Quoted her that again but brought up SSL along with other security features. She said Dr will not want to do it because Dr tends to take 1 project at a time and had set the budget for this. She had asked if there was another option lower maybe with another template that is similar to https://dryazdan.com/ which is what dr likes.

Told her we don’t and I had suggested to go with original plan which is custom from scratch based on past experience even with 1st project switching to a template that Dr was picky. She agreed.

Also wanted webchat function like https://dryazdan.com/ . Told her it is a feature that works independently of their site and that there are companys that specialize in it which we can integrate when ready. She understands.

Sent Monica email, cc’d Catherine in there to show her the 5 slider images that was used which is not fully propagated (takes up to 24 hours). This was an issue she had cause she still see the old one but now undrestands. Purpose of sending her those 5 images is to show proof it was done. She may want to remove/replace but at least it was updated from what she orig req to remove.

If ok to go live, told her to give us temp access to GoDaddy to reconfigure since they have emails so it won’t interfere. Waiting for her response.

All the changes she complained about today with me over the phone was completed by Catherine whcih I had called her to go over visually which she confirmed it was what she wanted and that there were no other ones. Dr. Foroutan was initially unimpressed by the design he chose (Sandy). He complained that the content from his site was not brought over (which it was).

She and doctor chose a new design “Jessie” because they wanted the logo to be more prominent. Quoted her until at least Wednesday to be completed as we wanted to change some photos and what not.

Confirmed that they want a site migration, everything is current on their original site. Their site is currently wordpress but she doesnt know the login credentials – Did a whois search which shows that Dr. Foroutan had purchased the website in godaddy – She said shell get back to me if she can get the credentials – she was apologetic but I assured her its not a big deal if she cant get the credentials.

– knows its a template – likes the Sandie layout. Wants header image to focus on beach scenery.

– SEO: Has excellent ranking for “newport beach dentist”, please do ALL redirects
– domain he owns and has access to Godaddy. Give him instuctions once he’s ready to go live.

was told by DoctorGenius in irvine that they do not need ppc and to just start with web with them and then discuss marketing. Monica was very skeptical and it didn’t make any sense.

Monica transferred call to dr to speak to me, spent 45mins over the phone clarifying questions.

He owns domain in the Godaddy account which I verified. dr understands now how the site will be redirected when ready to go live. Gave 30 days notice to current company already so site will be taken down on Aug 1. Should have it done in 2 weeks cause it is optizign. Showed him design form Optizign which he liked JESSIE design but will look it over. Knows the limitations. Discussed custom from scratch as well which is $4,000. Dr will jsut still with the template.

Has good SEO rankign for “Newport Beach dentist”.. #4

Discussed PPC mGMT as well so dr has better undrstanding on how PPC works and the settings based on budget of $500. As far as mileage radius and zip code. Told dr for $500, we can prob do about 3 miles cause there are a lot of surrounding cities which dr knows its competitive. Overall dr ‘s main concern is to stick within $500 he allocate and not go over like the other company who did mgmt for him. Assured him we will structure it to stay within this.

Video, also interested in dental videos. Showed dr the videos which dr liked, quoted $20/m which dr may want to add in the future. most likely will.
