“Dr Austin Hill is a native Floridian, originally from Ft. Lauderdale. He is a proud Gator fan and graduated from the University of Florida in 1983 with a degree in Chemistry. Dr. Hill then attended and graduated from the University of Miami in 1987 with his Doctor of Medicine degree. His training in Urology was completed at University of Cincinnati for the 6 years from 1987 – 1993. Dr. Hill has been in continuous private practice in Urology in Bradenton since completing his residency in 1993.

His Urologic areas of interest include female incontinence and reconstruction, urologic cancer,
stone disease, voiding dysfunction, treatment of prostate diseases. Dr. Hill was the first urologist in Manatee County to perform radioactive seed implants for prostate cancer (1993), ambulatory outpatient prostate surgery (1994), laparoscopic removal kidney stones (1995). He has proficiency in both open surgical and minimally invasive surgical and as well as non-surgical treatment of prostate cancer, kidney cancer and non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate.

Many of the most common procedures are now done in the office setting or our on-site surgery center, Riverwalk Ambulatory Surgery Center, for the comfort and convenience of the patient. Dr. Hill has been very active in the medical community. He has served as Treasurer, Secretary, Chief of Surgery and as Vice Chief of staff of Manatee Memorial Hospital. He has served as President of the Manatee County Medical Society, and President of “We Care,” an organization founded by Manatee County physicians that annually provides over $200,000 of free care to residents of Manatee County. He has served a delegate to the Florida Medical Association, representing Manatee County physicians, serves on the Florida Urologic society executive committee, and is a Florida representative to the Southeast section of the American Urologic Association. Dr. Hill is also a founding member of the Manatee Surgical Center and Riverwalk Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Dr. Hill is the president and managing partner of Urology Partners. Dr. Hill and his family are active members of the First United Methodist Church of Bradenton. Mindy, his wife of 20 years, is active in charity fundraising, having served as president of the Manatee County Medical Alliance and active in raising money for Children’s Haven, Rubonia Day Care for migrant workers’ children, Women’s Resource Center and Hope Family Services for the last 15 years. Dr. Hill and Mindy are the proud parents of three great kids, Hayden, Ethan and Corinne.

Hi Jessica
I got your vm and had a chance to go over the design concept. I like it so much better, but I do have some changes and will call you in an hour or so if your available.

Basically, the gold/yellow color that is pulled from the logo should not be used to the extent you have it. I would actually prefer the lighter gray/green of the palm shadow if you had to pull another color. Maybe play with reversing the dark and lighter green to see what looks best. The gold can be used, but just sporadically.

Can the main photo with the bikes be less washed out? Also there are a couple of photos with mountains in the background (two men and woman golfing). Please change those.

I’ll try you in a bit, but if we don’t connect, this will give you something to go on.

We tried to find an image of the Da Vinci Surgery on our stock photo library but were unable to. The main different between these two designs is the images. We can always update the images and text of the design during development.

I put together another draft, taking into account what we talked about last week. Take a look and we can discuss it this week.

Cyndi did not like the design draft at all. She hated the orange/rust brown color, the site was too short & simple.

She didn’t like the photos – they seemed unnatural and smiley, the people in them were all senior citizens, which leaves out their younger clientele.

The site only focused on one of their three locations.

The front page and header image is too “sparse.” She wants the front page to be more dynamic and interesting, and to focus on more active people.

The social media icons don’t need to be up top. She would prefer they were integrated into a contact “badge” in the upper right corner.

She liked the nav bar, but did not like the color.
She liked the Testimonials section, but said it felt “flat.”
Words she used to describe her ideal site: Progressive, Quality, Complete, active, life

I’ll send another draft. She will meet with the docs this week to give more feedback.

Called, LM. Cyndi is out of the office until 7/11/17. She did say that she would be checking email, though it would be difficult to get the partners to approve a design during the vacation months. I will send her an email, and see if she’s had time to look over the design.

There are seven physicians in the practice, and they function like a board of directors. Two of them are supervising her in the design process, and one of them will have final approval at each stage. She describes this doctor as a “moving target.”

Look/feel of desired site: Coastal town, beach, vacation, white sand beaches, large, clear images – Not a lot of smiling people, more atmospheric.

Likes the photos on Dr. Allen’s site, doesn’t like it when photo is obscured by title banner. They may not need a slider in the header – static image might be OK. She like’s RA pain Services’ approach:

– prominent Appointment button, address info

Cyndi will be out of town next week, and July is the worst week for doctors – a lot of them go on vacation, so it will be hard to nail them down for approvals.
