Dr. Arthur Yunov called, mentioned his wife Dr. Nelly Cohen is showing up as an obgyn on Google and causing some confusion with clients. I explained they have an obgyn page and therefore that might be triggering this result. He insisted they did not want to remove the page but rename it to Gynecology Services instead.

Also wanted to track if clients were visiting the website or going to ZocDoc directly for appointments. Explained he would have to ask them to track or request a tracking code from ZocDoc.

1. Add specialists description under services that we our office provides

2. We have the following specialist in our office on scheduled bases: OB/GYN, Cardiology, Gastroenterology. (And then you can describe each speciality separately).

Ob/GYN: providing full range of services: pregnancy/delivery, Pap smears, colposcopies/ Leep procedures, hysteroscopies, family planning, breast examinations, evaluation and diagnosis of any gynecological acute or chronic conditions, screening for oncological conditions, screening and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases.

Cardiology: full range of services, including evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic cardiological conditions, EKG’s, Echocardiograms, carotid/ aorta dopplers, stress tests, cardiac catheterizations, preoperative clearances.

Gastroenterology: full range of services, including evaluation and treatment of any acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions, endoscopes and colonoscopies, screening for colon cancer

Dr. Yunov questioning if we can track number of users clicking on zocdoc on contact page. Told him to contact zocdoc to see if they may have code we can add to site to track.

He mentioned was happy getting a lot more visitors on site and site is #4 in google search.

Can you please email Dr. Yunov instructions to access his GA stats?

Told him it will take a little more time for site to climb up.

Please call him so he can get a better understanding about his google search results. He seems concerned.

Dr called, wasn’t upset, just wondering why he doesn’t see his website. Dr is a bit old-school and doesn’t know much about the internet.

Explained to dr that his site was just launched live 2 days ago for the 1st time so the site has not been indexed by Google yet which will take up to 30 days.

Told dr to get to 1st page immediately, we can do PPC for him which will be about $300-$500/m for an Internist. Told him in Manhattan or LA, it is at least $1,500 so he can get a relative idea.

Dr understood now.

Discussed marketing again with dr. – Dr wants to get found but doesn’t want to spend much. Interested in SEO in his competitive area which he knows. Pushed dr to follow my advice if he’s on a limited budget to allocate towards PPC which is immediate vs the SEO. Poitned out to dr all the tricks other SEO companies does and gave him examples which Dr really appreciate. he trusts me and appreciates my sincerity which is what he liked so far.

Spoke to dr, extremely nice. Currently with zocdoc and is getting about 8 new patients a month right now just from the directory. Looking to get 4 more new patients each month.

Working at a hospital but planning on opening new practice. Trying to explore getting a site for himself to focus on Google cause zocdoc is limited which was consistent with what I had told him as well and agreed.

Been talking to a few companies (PatientPop). Qutoed Dr. Gold initially but it was way too much since he is paying only $300/m right now with zocdoc.

Proposed the Silver at a discounted rate which still seems high but i stood firm.

Went over SEO and PPC as well. He had ppc done before but didn’t work so skeptical about it. Told him he shoudl give it another try which he may consider.

Saw our gallery and liked our work. Liked how what i said was mostly from patients perspective while others he spoke to was trying to sell him. He seems to understand there are no guarantees in general.

Right now, focus is getting a website first. Possibly SEO and/or PPC. Budget seems to be about $300/m in the future… most likely allocate this towards SEO.
