Julie followed up via email on November 1 to support. The email was forwarded to me as of yesterday.

01.) I would like the video at the bottom of the home page to be a slideshow. That is what it was always supposed to be but Jan told me to do one on youtube and then send them a link. I can’t do one on youtube anymore it appears, and I have been told that with word press it is an easy thing to be done so there is really no reason for it to be done on youtube.

02.) I asked Jan towards the beginning of the building phase if the website would be made compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. We had heard of problems with a group suing small businesses that were not compliant and since we were just beginning the build of our new site we wanted to make sure that this was a part of it as it was being built. I was assured by him that it was. Now I received a notice that there is an upgrade that needs to be done to make it compliant. It was very upsetting to get this email knowing that just a few months before I was told it was being built that way.

03.) I also received an email regarding googles requirements for encryption technology and to contact you when we are ready to do that. Once again, very upsetting since the website was just built, and now you are telling me it wasn’t built correctly and I’m assuming there will be a charge for it. I am finding this repetitive and very unprofessional.

04.) I googled “Dentist Festus MO” and “Dentist 63028” and we don’t even show up until the third page. I was told that this website would be optimized and SEO would be in place for this. Could you please let me know what the problem is that this is happening? We had a better placement before we had our new website than we do now.

I apologize for the long email, but I am feeling frustrated with your company. I feel as if I may have been misled about several things just to get the business. I do hope to resolve these issues.

I apologize for misinterpreting your feedback. I’ve reverted the main turquoise color that we had and included the accent brighter color within the buttons and overlays. I could not adjust the logo in specific spots, therefore had left that portion alone. If you would like to make adjustments to the logo, please have your graphic designer send a vectorized format. The previous PSD that was emailed was not vectorized. Either way, we can always replace the logo with what you’d like in the future as well.

Based off the discussion and feedback you’ve provided for Jan, I’ve compiled a new draft for your review. He stressed that you would like the colors to match as close as possible to your actual office. However, when adding different textures, especially wood, the previous colors had to be adjusted to better match. I believe that the current colors still match the office even though its not exact. The computer screen will always display colors differently anyway. Please review and let me know what you think, thank you!
