I had previously requested bullet points for the following topics, as Dr. Bark and I talked about it on the phone back on March 23rd:

I never received anything from here until April 3rd when she sent a document for “Ketosis” and was wondering why we never sent her custom content (because she never confirmed/responded). Both Danny and Belinda had responded to Dr. Bark about custom content, and Danny suggested to have her writer do all of the writing (Joanna).

She emailed today asking what is up with the content for “Ketosis”. It’s exactly word for word what was on the document (with spelling/grammar errors fixed), and she asked why there was nothing else added to it. I explained, again, that we can write custom content for her but she needs to confirm who will be writing it. She never confirmed if us or Joanna.

Notified Dr. Bark that all content and images have been added to her website. I removed the construction page and am working on adding/categorizing Blog posts.

However, we are having a problem with Pagely in regards to the Divi builder update. When I go to edit any page, I receive a “Builder Cache Warning”. I cleared my browser cache, restarted my browser, and am still not able to edit the pages of this website. All other websites are working fine and do not receive this warning message. Rod and I have been working on this for a few hours and have been in contact with Pagely.

Dr complained that her site is online with mistakes or verbage that she does not approve of. “Danny told me that the sites files are copied and my old site will just be hosted.” — Corrected her that she might have misunderstood, that we cannot simply pull files, Wayback machine was blocked by robots.txt (she knew what this was).

Main complaint: business name is incorrect
** Verified that her previous website had this name and she has approved of the design with this name. She acknowledged.

“Danny said to cancel in 30 days and by March 1 your site will be up” — Clarified that we do not have a time limit policy but we can always put a temporary site up. Because her cancellation w/prev company happened during development, the new design has been applied. She says she definitely understands the process a bit more but felt helpless and that no one was leading her issues.

Told her that there will be things that she does not understand and will have questions, but redirect those questions to me or Desirae as they’re mostly technical. Conclusion is to place a temporary page with contact information, link to skinandchocolates.com, and form.

Gave her 3 months waived only because she feels like she’s lost a lot of business during this week. She “greatly appreciates” what I’m doing and feels good that the site will be done. She complemented Desirae and is excited to get site launched.

Belinda/desirea, please contact Justin 888-587-8421 to coordinate to get the files/copy of the site. It is important that we get it cause dr has articles & info she had wanted to migrate over to the new site.

Please find out what needs to be done as far as paying a month of hosting or a transfer fee. We will take care of it on our end for the client (don’t let them know that we are or else they will add a surcharge). Previous note stated she was paying $1,500/year for hosting so it shouldn’t be more than $130/month.

Side note: Belinda mentioned reason for files not downloaded was because it was blocked when they had tried.

had told her the reason this is happening because she cancelled her account with the prev abruptly. Told her we have steps that we do prior to our clients canceling with previous host/company.

Told her to send me the emails she had so we can set it up again for her.

Requested a list of services/treatments from Dr. Bark so we can get custom content written for her.

Dr. Bark canceled her website with Godaddy before the new website was ready. I advised her with 2 options:

1. to re-sign up with Godaddy so that we can have her previous content to reference for the new website (this was in progress before the website went down)
2. give us the domain credentials so we can apply her domain to tempsite (should be done with development tomorrow) and create custom content for her

She chose option #2. I have applied the domain to the temporary site and notified client.

called dr, was on her lunch break. Really nice. looking to switch cause she wants a new site. talked to 2 other companies prior to this claiming that they offering her same quality for $3,000 but $10 more per month compared to us.

Gave her assurance that ours is very competitive. Offered her that we can do $3,000 but no ownership which is the best I can do and since it is end of the month.

Dr recently sent out a check to the current company for $1,500/year but will try to get it prorated to pay for only a month.

Current site she owns everything. She said she wrote all those blogs which she wants to continue doing in the future. Content will be carried over cause all the content she wrote as well. Wants a makeover to reflect her better cause she said she is a “public figure”, does a lot of videos and conferences and also does a lot of court appearances for her testimonial research.

Gave her pointers on what we can do to develop a site to reflect her in this regards which I assured her. She really liked everything and will get back to me once she talks to her staff regarding the stop payment that was already sent out. She said she’s sure she can cause she has a good relations with them.
