Hello Dr. Baki,

It’s been a long time, I hope all has been well.

.com and .net can definitely be separate and have two websites, however, the content on those sites should be different. If the content is the same/similar than essentially you are diluting the results and they are competing against each other. If one domain is currently ranked higher than the other: And we do what you have proposed, you will lose ranking in the long run. Short-term there might be a fluctuation, but it will result in duplicated content — which is what Google does not want to deliver. This is why we suggest to forward domains to one main one. This way, all of the traffic is focused in one location.

If you would like to move forward into having two duplicating websites, it is technically possible but not suggested. I believe this is way Danny originally suggested to activate the template website (keystone-dentist.com – ordered in January 2017).

dr wanted to start Adwords for this location and the other website he has with us. Told dr that he will need to update this site cause currently it is very out-dated and will get him low conversion. Dr didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars and does not have time and patience to go through design process again.

Dr decided to allocate the $1,000 for Adwords to website makeover 1st to prepare for the adwords. Dr didn’t want to spend more than that so this was agreed upon. Dr stated to just put together anything together since it is better than what he has. just use the site we did for him as a reference.
