    PPC Complaint

    dr called, had questions about his campaign cause he hasn’t gotten ROI. He had this issue before with me which was due to him being impatient. I reminded him again last time, he only had it activated 2 weeks and was expecting immediate ROI which he undrestands after telling him that it takes 1-2 months and that we are adjusting/finetuning campaign. Dr understood at the time.

    The last month or so, his campaign was turned on/off due to credit card issues which I told him that this has an effect as well. Currently it is off.

    Dr was questionning about the cost per click being ‘high”: $9. Told him i will need to review to see but told him in the beginning we like to push/prioritize high quality keyword then monitor and adjust based on the clicks.

    At this point, told dr that i will need to see the dates when it was on/off and stats for dates it was active.

    He kinda called out of nowhere so i was not prepared, told him i will talk to marketing and get some data to see. told him usually first 1 week we are making adjustments and it takes time to see some results but this one is a bit iffy cause he’s had marketing done by prev company and they were performing better.

Regarding the keywords below, i’ve replied back to him already and bcc’d you regarding that basically telling him $300/m is limiting what we can do. I had previously advised him to do $1,000/m which was what he was doing with the prev company. This increase, we can then add “dentist” or “dental implants” without having to have “moorpark” in there.

Given that we are doing geographic targeting for Moorpark, CA and a 3 mile radius of our office address, do we need to include “Moorpark” in our keyword terms e.g. ‘+dental +implants +moorpark’. If we simply use keywords like dentist or +dental +implants in conjunction with the geographic targeting, I believe we would get more volume and still stay focused in our region. Right now most of our ad groups have zero impressions for the month. What is the point of having ads that nobody sees?

    Also, our landing pages (e.g. dental implants ad group is using http://pauljangdentistry.com/2017/03/01/dental-implants/ ) don’t have any offer or promotional ad copy. Potential patients landing on our website will not have any clue what they should do next. I would prefer we make more landing pages like the one I created on my free time linked here http://pauljangdentistry.com/2017/05/19/dentist-in-moorpark-ca-grand-opening-special/ We should use this landing page for our general “Dentist” ad group. Furthermore, we could duplicate this grand opening special landing page for dental implants and emergency dentist as well. I took the liberty of creating the necessary banners for two new landing pages (images attached).

    Update keywords to not include moorpark so we can get more impression volume.

    called dr back. had a long talk with him. Long story short, he regret signing up with REVLocal for ppc which is taking 34% of his AD budget even if it increases in the future. Signed a contract which i previously told him to avoid. He stated that he should've listened to me but in his defense, he said he had a bad experience when he was working with Jan (switched to Belinda after and is extremely happy). He stated it was his fault too because he grew impatient which is in his nature but does see that we are the right fit for him. Quoted him $299/m for ppc mgmt which he liked that it was flat. He also was weary cause he wasn't getting the results and didn't know much how ppc works. Gave him details on what we would do for him which was clearer for him. His Ad wasn't showing when i searched which he didnt see too. This is due to budget limitations per day that they did for him. He asked for my advice with SEO cause he wants to show here too. Told him we can do $250 or $500 whcih will speed it up but there is no guarantee and that if he does it again with us, he has to commit himself. Also discuss G+ listing which i recommend for him to focus on to get reviews. Dr wants to do ppc with us for $1000 cause he knows the value know after i spoke to him back then and some results with REVLocal but feels they are not doing much as far as maximizing his budget and feels they are not a company he can work with long-term but us instead cuase of our great reputation.Dr will get back to me. Possibly do $1,000/m ppc + $299/m mgmt and about $250 to $500 for Advanced SEO.

    Dr wanted to reconnect on the SEO from prior discussion. Asked about the cost. Quoted him a min of $250/m. He read some SEO info on our website already and wanted clarification.

    Also discussed Blog articles, quoted $100 per article on demand.

    Recommended dr to do PPC if he wants immediate patients and also pointed out for SEO, it requires some time to see any results if any cause its unpredictable. Didn’t go over cost for PPC cause dr had to go see a patient but mentioned he will call me back to continue convo. Dr was very nice and appreciative.

    spoke to dr jang. Very nice. Was considering signing up with www.RevLocal.com basedin irvine. They came to his office pitching SEO and PPC and Review MGMT and Directory cleanup.

    Talked for a long time explaining to him what they do vs us. Told dr as long as there is no contract and after 2 months with no ROI, he should stop. Companies like that have aggressive sales people and high volume witih high turnover rate.

    Told dr that we can do the SEO and PPC at $250 and $500/m for Moorpark which is around the budget he has. But Dr needs to understand how SEO works and the expectations from it. Dr does want to do some type of SEO regardless which he understands now based on my discussion. Dr will think it over the weekend and get back to me.

    Proposed the Gold but it was pricey for him. Introduced the Silver to him but at a rate of $1k which was still pricey. Gave him a lot of pointers on how ours will get him better ROI and the diff is only $1k.

    Asked about SEO which he learned from a class. Gave him overview of SEO, introduced PPC which he hasn’t heard. Gave him benefits of this. Quoted him $200/m for Moorpark, not at all competitive.

    Sent him info so he cna review with his wife. Very very nice.

    will get site launched then reconnect on SEO (off-site) & PPC. Client is aware of the SEO which has no guarantees. All this was discussed with his wife which they both know somewhat from SEMINARS. This was also a sellign point which i made them aware of how SEO companies works such as the one they were considering (semper fi website), they are SEO company that offers templates and is not focused in healthcare.
