    G+ & Google AD Issue

    Dr fwd this to me per my phone call with her earlier to help her figure out the issue Google had told her. It was consistent with what I had assume which was bc her site is not live. Bc it is not live, Google agent couldn’t verify G+ listing and PPC they are doing for her. Replied back confirming this with her and also with the domain name she wants to go with either www.ElkoDentalLLC.com or www.ElkoDental-LLC.com (this was recommended by direct mail company to seperate the 3 LLL’s.

    It is situated. The complaint/issue she had which I figured out is related to her site not going live. She's trying to verify her G+ and have PPC through Google but Google couldn't verify at the time which i assumed was right regarding her site not live. Dr is not computer savvy and is confused. she just needed a lot of guidance and during this process was very frustrated not because of us but with Google since she is doing the setup and verification herself.

    spoke to dr, dr was not happy with the progress of the project and felt that designer was not putting much effort into the personalization. She understood it was a template but some of the personalization was expected more from designer. For example, her practice name is “Elko Dental”, ELKO was on 1 line/row and DENTAL was in the next row.

    Dr was just frustrated because this is all new to her and she’s having issues with other things she’s trying to do on her own which is setting up G+. I had spent 20 mins last week helping her with this. Dr is very nice but is not too tech/comp savvy. She’s also having issue with i believe Google Ad cause she mentioned somethign about $100 credit and $25 per setup for each of her 2 locations. She wasn’t even sure what it was for but Google stated there are issues. I told dr I believe this is PPC and that bc her site is not live, they can’t setup her PPC and same goes for G+. Dr still confused and not even sure. Advised dr to simply go live which should get that situated but dr wants to wait for revisions and doesn’t think it is related.

    Dr was also told by direct mail company to change her domain from www.elkodentalllc.com to elkodental-llc.com because there are 3 “L”s which is confusing. Told dr we can switch but its $20 (1-time) since we already registered the 1st one which we can let it expire if she decides to switch. She will wait and see.

    Waiting on dr to fwd me the email she got from “google” with the issue so I can help figure out the problem she is having with “verification”. Told dr that I will be here for her if she needs and to contact me anytime.

    Provided a walkthrough for Dr. Korobova on 12/19. She thought that the website was okay but was not impressed. Her main concerns were the font size (too small for her to read) and the fact that she had two locations but the website “emphasized” one. Justified that the font was standard size but still wants all text to be larger. Explained that the website uses one location as its primary but wants both locations to be emphasized.

    Dr. Korobova likes and listed a LOT of colors (Green, Black, White, Light Blue, Yellow, and Orange). She is currently placing the decision more on us since she trusts the designer. Suggested blue since it is on her logo to have the design consistent along with black and white.

    Assets

    Dr. Korobova has a logo but does not have a digital copy. The logo is more “cartoon-ish” which would conflict with elegant and professional that she wanted, suggested not to go with the logo. It was the cheapest logo she could get. She also has images of the office and staff which she will provide later on.

    Went over the Silver package, it was out of her budget. was talking to a few companies offering $0 initial and $10/m and some at $200 initial and $50/m.

    Pointed out to her the differences with what we do vs others and the issues that she will continue having since she had a bad experience.
