Dr. Stoner was a bit frustrated at the amount of work he has to put in to get his site up and running. He is very detail oriented and wants everything perfect before he goes live. Dr. Stoner has mentioned that he was relying on us to create pages for him and organize content without much clear direction. I have informed Dr. Stoner that we need guidance in regards to organizing content as he is very detail oriented.

We quickly went over the ‘cases’ page where Dr. Stoner just provided images with no instructions or details. I informed Dr. Stoner that we did our best to organize the content but he would need to provide detailed instructions if he wanted it to be organized a certain way. Furthermore, he wanted us to create slides or images of the pictures he provided and edit them. I explained to Dr. Stoner that we could organize the images in a grid layout on his web page but we could not do extensive “photoshop work” without charging a fee as it is beyond the scope of his package. He mentioned that he was sold “lies” and needed to do more research in his website company. Furthermore, he does not have time to organize content or images and was relying on us to be able to perform this.

I tried to explain to Dr. Stoner that we would need guidance regarding his content and images as we want to make sure it was done correctly.

– please read my PHONE CONFERENCE note to get a brief history on dr. – Dr wants a site to reflect him not something “flashy” or state he’s the “Best Dentist”. He seems like he wants to be the “neighborhood dentist” with personalized photos.

spoke to Dr. Stoner. Extremely nice. Had bad experience in the past with a company in California. They did a website for him which was not reflective of him or his practice: http://theindianapolisorthodontist.com/ – It is still live online which he really didn’t tell them to take it off yet. He’s not paying for it. Issue with the site was it mentioned too much about “best orthodontist”, “great dentist”, etc. and also shows services that he didn’t offer like damon braces. It seems like dr is more old-school, mom’s pops type, the “neighborhood dentist”. less stock more of the office.

Dr is shopping around, had a budget of less than $2,000. Went over with him what we do vs others when it comes to quality, pricing and support. Went over all 3 packages, came to an agreement at $3,000 with option to add ownership for $500. Dr’s original budget is $2k but wants a site to reflect him and I told him the only way is to go with custom from scratch whcih I assured him we will.

Dr has good ranking for “orthodontist indianapolis” which was the G+ not organic. Dr has 15 reviews. Explained to him how G+ works, he thought it was the SEO part. Explained to him how SEO works and because he is in Indianapolis, it will be difficult. For his Westfield office, he has a better chance. Brought up PPC, explained to him how it works and the benefits of it. Dr wants to focus on makeover then possibly Marketing.

dr wanted to get started, sent him contract with login credentials. Will order soon.
