Hope you had a good holiday. We actually just had a board meeting this morning to finalize websites options. They decided to go with a different company that offered lower upfront cost (but higher monthly cost).
I appreciate all your information and time. Sorry it couldn’t work out- I was really rooting for you!

replied letting her know that Google has nothing to do with having to change design every 15 months. Their algorithm changes whcih is normal but our designs are future proof for these changes. Told her only reason why our clients change design is if they are rebranding or wants a fresher look. Even so, these are usually 5 years on average not 15 months.

I did speak to them about long-term vs short-term cost. The company they are considering is contracted through AMG( Audiology Management Group) who we use for our hearing aids. One of the concerns is that Google will change “something” in 15 months and then we will have to do a completely new design and spend another $4000. What is the average “life-span” of a website? By that I mean, how long do your clients usually just pay the monthly fee until something happens where we have to start again?
Still rooting for your company! No final decisions have been made yet."

sent her a response pointing out to her what these companies are offering which are templates and their tactic with the cost. Pointed out to her for example if they are paying $500/m, This is $6k which is on-going every year. With our Gold, the 1st 2 years is still less than 1 year with them at $0/initial and $500/m. Told her i'll touch base at the end of the day Thursday following their lunch meeting to finalize.
