Dr. Massih,
It was great speaking to you.
Per our discussion, I’ve updated your card on file with our accountant.
For the PPC (Google Ad Campaign), here is a general idea on how budget reflects the # of visitors to your site. Please make note that every CITY and SPECIALTY, the budget is different and the settings are setup differently.
Beverly Hills:
Orthodontist:
$1,000 budget: Can cover about 2-3 miles around practice
$2,000 budget: cover up to 3-4 miles around practice
General Dentist:
$1,000 budget: cover 1-2 miles
$2,000 budget: cover 2-4 miles
Fargo, ND:
Orthodontist:
$500 budget: Can cover 10-15 miles radius
General Dentist:
$500 budget: cover 5-10 miles
The “radius coverage” basically means anyone searching within this coverage, your AD will be visible to them if they are searching for any keywords within your campaign. Google recognizes the searcher based on their “IP Address” (Internet Protocol”).
If the city is more saturated, the coverage is limited based on the budget.
Generally, for Specialist such as yourself, I would cover around 3-5 miles, test the ROI, then increase to cover a larger radius slowly. I would not recommend going further past 7 miles for Torrance because the further out you go, the more it will cost but the likelihood of them coming in is a lot lower. 3-5 miles will cover any neighboring cities within your office, not just Torrance.
For a General dentist in Torrance, it will cost more each month because there are a lot more GP practices than SPECIALISTS. Their keywords are broader vs yours is more ORTHO-related.
Overall, budget will determine the amount of online exposure and traffic to your site.
This campaign is very cost-effective because you are only targeting prospective patients searching for you hence why they are typing in those keywords as long as its in your campaign. For example: “orthodontist”, “braces”, “invisible braces”, “clear braces”, “invisalign”, etc.
The great feature with this campaign especially with our company is that it is on a month to month basis. We offer this for our website clients so there are no obligations… we want to make sure our clients get the ROI to continue. Many other companies out there will sell you to “sign a contract” which you have to avoid. When it comes to marketing, you don’t know if it will work or not, some marketings are more effective in other demographic hence why you should not be obligated to any long-term contract.
For Torrance, I would recommend a budget of $1,000/m which we can cover about 4-5 miles around your practice. If lets say, you have wanted to start off with $500/m, we will target about 2-3 miles. The amount of traffic and online visibility at the of a 2-3 mile will be less than if you were to compete with a competitor that is covering 4-5 miles.
Hope this all makes sense 🙂 Let me know if you want to reconnect next week so we can go over and I can further clarify any other questions you may have.
Thank you and hope you have a great upcoming Memorial Day Weekend if I don’t speak to you until then.
