Had a phone conference with Ken. Went excellent. We went over the outline of the project he had sent over.
Gave him assurance regarding the SQL and our capability. Told him I had a meeting with the designer, it, support, programmers, etc to discuss the outline to make sure every topic is covered based on each dept.
Told him how we even built our own CRM similar to SALESFORCE to tailor more towards our needs which he liked. This was to give him confidence in our capability.
Told him project will take at least 2-3 months unlike our usualy 1 month for a dental practice cause their’s is a franchise. Told him as well that there may be bumps in the road which is expected but we are capable of working around it. He told me he liked that i said that because he understands that their will be issues that are unexpected cause no project will go smoothly. He liked how I am very realistic vs telling him what he wants to hear like a lot of other companies he had talked to which he said was “kissing his ass”.
Pointed out again our reviews which will speak for itself and this was important to him cause he wants to build a long relationship with a company like ours. So far we are at the top of his list and they will be waiting for all proposals by Jan 15, 2017. He has a board meeting around that time to finalize and decision will be made at the end of January. He is not the decision maker but will try to vet us for this large project.
Told him i’ll put together a custom proposal amending each line of his outline which he really liked. Will quote him $37,500 give or take $5,000 for potential unexpected features. Monthly fee, will confirm with Dr. F.
