I had helped her verify the listing so she can do on her own which is now verified under Dr. Nicholson’s personal gmail. Told her now to update the listing with photos, office hours, etc. Once that is done, send us the link so we can link it on their site to start optimizing it by them getting patients/family/friends, etc to go to the site clicking on that link to submit reviews.

Lucy will let me know once done. Very appreciative of the guidance given to her.

Would like to know how to proceed. Jan will look into her account.

spoke to lucy since last week, was approached by someone regarding marketing and issues with their site.

clarified with her what we are doing (PPC). The g+ was linked incorrectly. Advised her to get the listing claimed and verified, it shows that it is not claimed (currently has 3 reviews). advised to focus on getting reviews which is how she can potentially get her and have some what of a control. Sent her email with examples and instructions how to do it which she now understands.

SEO, she was showing for some keywords and some not. Advised to do Adv SEO which i had recommended 50 hours which is at $1,250/m. She stated taht company offered $200-$300/m which I had pointed out to her how those SEO companies work and their tactics cause they wanted her to switch designs as well to their templates which i told her its going in opposite directions.

Lucy knows quite a bit and is very good at understanding. Its Dr Nicholson that she needs to convince this and with Dr’s history, she gets antsy with everything is always makes changes if things don’t work.

With SEO, we then discuss budget and she can try to get dr to allocate $500/m for SEO at most which i told her that we will work around that but the expectation shouldn’t be at what i recommended for $1250/m.

This is Kathryn Nicholson. I am really unhappy with Belinda and what was designed for us. Please call me to discuss this. She is not listening to us..

We are being charged a monthly maintenance fee and our sites are not ready to launch. Please reverse the charges for this month. That is not right considering how Belinda has not been available for us to work with through most of the Christmas season.

Please help me fix this because I am really unhappy. She said she sent me several email yesterday. I did not receive any of them, but I received the one today. I don’t believe she wants to help us.

Spoke to Emily (1/4/16) evening and she kept mentioning that the design is too boxy. I told Emily that all of the websites doctor has referenced are “boxy” but when they are developed they don’t appear that way. She specifically brought up batesdental.com again and I mentioned that design is very boxy but has effects (parallex) that makes it less stagnant. The only way to make it “feel” the same way is to develop the site.

She asked can we develop, told her house analogy. If her and doctor are primarily okay with design I can, but I cannot go back and make major changes. Also told Emily during our last convo, doctor did not mention anything else but to literally round corners and add shadows and waves (which was done).

I’ve updated the designs based off our last conversation and added your photo from Friday. We’re still missing Dr. Roya’s photo, therefore I put a placeholder. Below are a list of changes for each design:

Main Office Design:
– nav: instead of words, put eloquent phrases
– stylize each menu item: rounded corners, gradients (subtle)
– ‘make smile better’ section is too purple and feminine, wants more grey tone.
– photos/sections are too boxy, break them up with curves
– add meet dr section

Washburn Design:
– cannot put ‘accepting ALL insurances’ but something like we’ll bill your insurance
– add dr section: Dr. Roya Rahnamy
– whitening circle, change image of the girl
– make the website 3d like the websites mentioned in note below.

Dr Nicholson had called wanting to know the status of the project since she hasn’t’ heard back from Belinda. Dr wanted to know so she can make a decision on her 30 days. Dr is overall very happy so far but wants to make sure it is on pace. At this point, I don’t know where we are at because Belinda is off this week. Last note I saw is from last week with some feedbacks. Told dr that I did see her feedbacks and Belinda is working on updating it. Told Dr that Belinda will get back to her next Tuesday (jan 3rd) after the New Year to update her. In the meantime, I told her we will push the 2nd installment which is due on Jan 2nd to Jan 6th (friday) so she has time to see the updated draft and an update from Belinda. Dr asked me to email her so she doesn’t stress out about this over the week.

Dr is overall very nice but just wants assurance due to her experience in the past with previous companies.

I like the Nicholson with the orchids. I like the images and the overall feel. I do not like how boxy it is. It reminds me of a cookie cutter website. I do not see any of the layering of the images so they change as you scroll over them. I do not like the way the choices are displayed at the top. Looks exactly like my current website and I don’t like that. Can you display those choices in a more creative way. I didn’t like the second mockup website because it looked too busy.

I like the images on the Smiles website, but I do not like the orange. There is no orange anywhere in our practices. This website also does not have the layering and looks very cookie cutter. Can you get some ideas about how you would put the layering in.

Let me know your thoughts. My favorite thing on both are the images that you chose.

I also think that moving to the different pages is unclear and not that easy to navigate. I feel like the linked dental content pages are very bland.
