Dr called again this morning, reactivating his lead. Dr wanted to reconnect on a discussion we had last year on the project. Was considering going with a new small web company that specializes in Podiatry.

Reviewed what they do which were more content marketing, seo, directory submission, with template site. Gave him pointers on all those services which are generic and unnecessary services that he is paying for which i went through each one in an hour long call.

Suggest again to go with the higher quality work and do it right from the beginning.

Dr sells vitamins through a special landing page: https://drmg.metagenics.com/ – wants to promote this as well on his site but doesn’t want them to know he’s a podiatrist cause they may be vitamins for obesity for example. Told dr we can have a landing page that is simple with all those vitamisn and when clicked on, takes them to https://drmg.metagenics.com/ – from there, if they go there initially, can can land on this landing page within his site. Dr liked that idea.

Sent dr same updated contract to get started when he’s ready.

Called Dr. to introduce myself. Told dr that I am Shelby’s director who’s been overlooking this account and is up to speed with the situation/dilemna that dr had.

Gave him overview of Prosites and US pointing out how they don’t compare when it comes to quality, support and pricing. Also pointed out that how he is concern about SEO, going with Prosites will not help his cause. Dr understood after I had pointed out this.

Dr had bad experience in the past but knew it was his fault for going with a lower cost company but accept his loss so money is a factor as well. I told dr i understood his situation and that what we will do, it will more than makeup for this loss with our effective website that is focused on not only good online presence but visitor conversion once they land on his site.

Dr other concern was shopping cart cause he wanted to sell vitamins. Debating on going with another company that offers him a website with the ecommerce. Told dr that there are 2 ways to doing this which is an full on ecommerce like amazon (payment, shipping, labeling, inventory) which will cost over $20k. Told dr alternative which a lot of our clients go with if there are little products which matches his case to go with Paypal. Told dr how easy it was and dr was surprise and really liked that option. Also pointed out that the other company that offered him a website too is a template and that will compromise his practice’s branding and patient acquisition. Dr completed agreed and understood from that perspective.

Wanted to show dr a client of ours that has estore setup like what i had suggested but dr was not in front of a computer. Dr asked to send the updated contract and also the link so he can see.

Dr potentially will go with us now and stated that he will not even consider prosites or the other ecommerce site/company since I offered him a better solution financially.

Overall, adjusted proposal removing some features and also break up installments to 3 installments.

sidenote: quoted Dr. $100 to $150 per article in the future. Dr understands.

Called and Dr. Answered while on his way to the office so he was not able to look at the computer. He is wanting to start his only concern is the price and he has had a bad experience with officite. He wants a clean website where pts can link to his E-store that is already set up we would just need the link on it. He really likes that Neurogenx, wants some examples of that but it looks like that website was canceled. He hates that he does not show on the first page of search results. Would like to do adwords and ongoing SEO, not wanting to do review management right now. Would like to have stuff posted on his website. His biggest concerns are ownership of the site and that he does not have to provide the content or worry that the work is being done on the site. Trust and Budget.
