Hi Tarva,
I have attached your design draft for your website. Please view it at 100% so that you can get the whole visual experience. There are two drafts, one is how it would look normally and the second is “active” and how one would interact with a few elements.
I tried to stay with your brand colors as much as I could and make things as easy to navigate. I used a 2 stack navigation bar to help split up and organize the original navigation you gave me in your notes. The 1st navigation is more “functional” links while the 2nd navigation is “supplementary / education”.
I brought in a serif font for the header to help have a humanistic approach to relate to your “family practice”. Supplemented it with a compressed san serif to convey a tech / authoritative voice.
Since compounding pharmacy is a individualistic type of service, I wanted to help show that visually with a broad range of demographic within the main image. From there, visitors can automatically learn more about what compounding is and/or find a practitioner near them.
One the side in a red that stands out (that will follow the user as they scroll) is an online refill button. This helps for returning visitors making the button easy to find.
Below is an inquiry form because I felt the services you offer were so broad, yet detailed, if a patient or a physician had a certain burning question, the form to ask would be available to them right away.
Then we introduce the family as you are a family owned business. I wrote up a little snippet on the philosophy of a family owned business. We can always change this if you would like. The image section will be a slider so we can put a few more family pictures there as well.
The featured services help pin point what sets you apart a long with what service is your main “bread and butter”. I thought that vitamin supplements and the vet meds was pretty unique so I wanted it to be highlighted. We can change the services out, however, if you feel others represent you better. The featured services will behave in this manner when hovered (http://tympanus.net/Development/HoverEffectIdeas/).
While I couldn’t find any testimonials on the web. Since we are also dealing with practitioners, it would be helpful to try to drum up some testimonials from them to help market yourselves to future practitioners.
Please let me know what you think!
