talked to dr again regarding the other company’s proposal. i pointed out to him that they are offering him different product and there were a lot of hidden items. he wants to not pay monthly fees at all which he stated that they don’t charge when they clearly do. offered dr a good rate but he wants too much. he asked to send updated proposal where I am just sending but don’t think he will follow thru. I consider it as a lost lead. will not f/u cause can’t do more.

Called Dr Golshan within 5 mins of submission. Extremely nice, spent 45mins on the phone. Dr had a lot of good questions. Opening a practice soon near UCR. Knows a bit about SEO. Talking to Officite and another company. Looking for custom design. Gave him pointers on our quality and what makes us different. Gave dr a crash course on Google search (Ad, G+ & SEO). Dr had asked about YELP and FB, showed him the G+ and the purpose of it which is better than yelp. Also showed him Dr. Mansouri how she dominates G+ and SEO which I told him i am confident he has a good chance since there are only 3 other podiatrist in his area and with the quality of our work, it will help with SEO. Also discussed Adwords to do after site launches to get immediate traffic. He saw the value of it after i went over how cost-effective it was and how it targets prospective patients searching the search terms. Quoted a min of $500/m.
Dr mentioned that bc we match and beat, there was an offer for $3,000. I told him let me see it and i will match based on comparable features.
Sent dr proposal with example of a few podiatrist and new clients 1 page concept. hot lead. will call end of the week to touch base.

Dr. Golshan sent me an email fwd from hedgehow web design. they are offering him $2,500 for a "custom design" which i had pointed out to him via phone when i called. I told dr the best I can do is to offer him at that rate which is web/mob and this is something I m allowed to offer 1 client each month with a low offer like this to earn his business. reason why he's leaning towards them is because they are primarily podiatry. Dr was getting into the car and will call me back to discuss more.
