Myles Howard, M.D. specializes in adult medicine and has treated a plethora of medical conditions including those with substance abuse, as well as those with urgent / emergent needs. Dr. Howard is a long time Syracuse resident and has been providing patients with compassionate healthcare for for more than 39 years. He earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center in Binghamton, New York. He was a Captain in the United States Army Medical Corps. Dr. Howard practices evidence-based medicine and takes a personal, comprehensive and coordinated approach to address any challenge that comes his way.
Shailaja Potdar, M.D. is an excellent Pediatrician with many years of experience taking care of infants, toddlers and adolescents. She received her medical degree from B.J. Medical College in Pune, India. She completed three years of residency at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She has experience working in both hospital and outpatient settings. Prior to her arrival in Syracuse in January 2011, she served as an attending physician at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital where she worked in the Nursery, attended to emergency C-sections, and saw patients within the clinics. She has received multiple awards including the “Star Award” for successfully reviving an infant in cardiac arrest, a recognition from the Mayor of Pune for “service to the underserved population”. She is also the recipient of the “Dedicated Service Award” on behalf of Brookhaven Hospital for her length of service to that community.
Toni Piceno, D.O. is a Board Certified Pediatrician who has been practicing medicine in the Syracuse area for eight years. She received her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her three year residency at Texas A&M University, Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Texas. At the time she was the Director of the Osteopathic Department and was involved in training the Pediatric Residents. She has given many lectures on different pediatric topics and was awarded first prize for resident research. She takes pride in helping and educating both her patients and their parents. She completed a fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Psychiatry and has expertise in treating a number of psychiatric disorders, including but not limited to ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, and eating disorders. As an Osteopathic Physician, she is trained to provide Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy which may be used to treat musculoskeletal conditions thus limiting the need for medications. She is very involved in the Girl Scouts where she is a Troop leader.
