Spoke to Kevin, he is trying to remove his FIRST NAME “Kevin” on this site: http://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/32278725/thumbs/sisi-edlunds-ideas when you google “houzz edlund”. He stated that he knows this person and had a relation with them in the past but wants to remove it. He had reached out to HOUZZ and also the person connected to this page.

He said it doesn’t effect him or his reputation but he just wants to remove “kevin” there. I had told him that the only way to remove his name is the person managing that page which is his acquantaince. Secondly, “kevin” is a very generic name and it does not effect his reputation unless if it says “Kevin McDermott” which at that point, he may have a case to remove his name.

I just introduced him to the rep shield for his name anyways which he is not interested, his main concern is to remove his name on that page only.

“Your firm was recommended by a friend in the technology business.
I am looking for a firm to help me remove my name from a website -in a broad sense it is a social media website. It focuses on home decorating. The user’s webpage is using my first name many times. I want to delete the use of my first name.
I have unsucessfully approached the website to remove my name. They refuse declaring that: Since there is not any usage of a last name they unable to remove my name from the users page/ideabook. The user has refused when I have requested in the past.
Please let me know if you can help. Or make a suggestion. Or refer me to a firm that does this type of work.
