Thank you for your contact information. I have reviewed the rough site with Jason. It’s a good start, but we’d like to go in slightly different direction.

Please look at the following website as an example of one we like to model ours after. We’d like some kind of combination of our current site (which is live now- I know it was not for a while) modeled after the Bayshore one, which is more current and streamlined.

Hi Dino,

I made the changes we talked about on the phone. If we ever have to change the services at the footer, we can definitely do so after development. Since development can take 1-2 weeks, I want to settle the small stuff after/during that timeframe so that we can go live as quick as possible.

We brightened up the banner, added a few more images — used the iTero for the digital dentistry instead of 3shape since we got permission for iTero. Replaced Newsletter with a inquiry form. Added a map and replaced a few of the icons.

Here is another version with your feedback in mind. Let me know what you think!

Client keeps going back to (http://crowndepot.com/) to compare your original draft. He is very particular as you will see in my notes.

Overall: He wants it “to have more pop”. Vibrant bright colors. No dark. The current grey/blue isn’t “popping”. He wants his logo bigger. We can integrate it on the banner like we did for stoneridge.

Navigation: ” Home, About us, Services, Download, Contact Us.” in that order.

Banner: He wants something like crowndepot. 1 static image and images inside of the banner that rotate. He wants to display emax anterior (canines/front teeth) and emax posteriors (molars). Contour Zirconia posteriors (molars). Both Emax and Zirconia are porcelain looking teeth with no metal at all. He doesn’t want any metal/gold crowns as they are phasing them out. He would like to see custom abutments just like on his site. And maybe denture/night guards.

“Savings promotion” he wants “off to the side”. So something a little more discreet.

Remove “Featured products” title.

For the images of featured products, lets go with icons instead of actual photos and change them to say “DDX”, “Downloadable Forms”, “Lab Services”, and “Digital Dentistry” for learning about digital workflow.

Think of “DDX” as a file transfer server.

He is very detail orientated. Make sure the product image selections do not have any chips or look dull.

The client is requesting for a modern yet simple and user-friendlly website. It should be light/bright and the color scheme should compliment his logo so that it blends nicely. The client heavily emphasized that the length of the website be short, he wants to limit the amount of scrolling (e.g. If it scrolls more than AMR Dental Ceramics, INC – it’s too much). He rather have more tabs on the menu or perhaps a side menu than have the website be too long. He likes the Crown Depot Dental Lab Inc. website in terms of layout.

A big plus is they are a Full Service Digital Dental Lab which not many labs are, use this as a main focus for the design. They can receive digital CAD/CAM designs from dentists instead of just relying on paper RX’s to describe what they want. This helps the manufacturing of the crown to be more accurate.

For the header section, place their logo on the left and their contact info/social media on the right.

For the hero image/slider section, it should display his products, he heavily emphasized his products so that should be incorporated here with a small description to the right side with a “read more” link/button that links to the corresponding page. Perhaps 3-4 slides should suffice.

Client was specific on their main products being CZ molars, dentures, and abutments. Use nice studio photos of the products. Also emphasize this site is geared towards Dentists, they are looking for product quality, not photos of people smiling. It would be nice to include those if necessary, but it should not be the main focus.

For the featured sections, should be around 4-5 features, nothing more, nothing less. The first feature must be DDX (links to a web portal for file transfer between doctor and patient), the second feature is Print to RX, the other 2-3 features should be CZ molars, dentures (removables), and custom abutments. They also do nightguards.

Make sure to include contact info, business hours, and services. Their business hours are 8-5 Monday to Thursday and 8-12 on Friday. Closed on Saturday and Sunday

As for the logo, you can nest the tagline below the actual logo or incorporate it somewhere else in the site.

I’d like to mention that I really like the general format of AMR Dental Ceramics, Inc on your website. In general, I’m looking for a light, bright, modern, user friendly and smartly laid out website. As far as color scheme I’m open but would like it to make our logo blend nicely with it. We’ll start simple and then add on portals and other things as we go forward.

Regarding our social media, I just want simple stuff initially and then we can add to it later. We can do pictures, videos, literature and whatever else you think is best. Feel free to call any time.
