Client called – requested to terminate her account with us – tried to save the account twice within the conversation by addressing the situation and what solution will be provided – client mentioned she is just very much so disappointed and wants to stop – she lost all confidence with our company and wishes to not move forward any longer – sent cancellation email to client – awaiting confirmation of receipt

I am just not happy. I am about ready to have all of my money refunded and have someone else build a site for me. I have already been charged for one month and I don’t even have an active website. Giving me two months free is essentially not going to help anything. You have not provided me anything and I have paid you almost $4000!! What in the world is going on?
And also, I have not heard from Marvin at all today after our conversation.

If you can continue to update her design drafts to get the website up accordingly, it would be helpful.
Make sure the little details are being caught (blurry pictures or if sample pictures need to be provided)

Hi Dr. Sikes and Katrina,

This is a concept based on your feedback. We tried to incorporate purple when we could. Definitely stayed away from any brown this time around since we like the yellow color of your logo. We wanted to compliment the purple and keep to a geometric sort of layout.

We did put the team photo (we found on your current site) as the hero image as you requested. If you have a better/bigger version of the photo it will be less blurry.

This client likes (http://carriemuznydds.com/index.html). Try not to copy the layout as they only like the feel of it and they do not have the necessary office photos to make that type of design.

Instead focus on making a modern/boutique feeling site. Geometric and “outside the norm/never seen before”.

If you can, try to incorporate a little bit of purple — like in their team photo.

I’ve emailed you their logo assets. Go with the blue/gold one.

Too brown looking. Reminds them of UPS. Try to incorporate purple if you can.

This is a simple site, but you need to be very careful in execution. We discussed the strategy on how to tackle this.

I’ll email you the assets we have. Make the outer and an inner like we discussed. It should be 1 page, no scrolling/min scrolling. Let me know if you have any questions.

They understand that they are to supply the photos of their office. Right now I will be using generic photos that resemble close to the color scheme of their office.

Katrina called me and left me a voicemail – relaying to me her misinterpretation of what Marvin had presented as her payment schedule – I emailed Dr, Marvin, & Katrina how the payment schedule will be so there is no future confusion:

I understand Marvin had spoken to Katrina earlier and she had just left me a voicemail.

I want to clarify everything — per our conversation this morning — for you to prevent any further confusion. Your relationship and experience with our company means a lot to us.

General Payment Schedule:
1st Half of the Initial Fee is processed to Start
2nd (Last) Half of the Initial Fee & Monthly Fee Starts 30 Days after 1st Initial
Your Account:
1st Initial: $1,750 was charged instead of $1,749 (1/18/16)
2nd (Last) Initial: $1,748 will be charged (2/18/16)
Total: 2 Payments of $1,749 as agreed ($3,498)
Everything will be in order as signed in the proposal.
I’ve already alerted my accountant to process everything as agreed below ” Your Account “.

Dr. Sikes called – said she got a fradulant charge from her CC company – saying $1,750 was charged – she thought it was half of $1,750 for the website to start – explained to her the proposal says 2 payments of $1,749 – she wants $1,749 instead of $1,750 in which we charged – I told her I will re-adjust it for her and told her our payment schedule policy via email & verbally – she said she has not gotten a call from a designer yet and was abit upset she was charged – told her her personal designer was tasked to give her a call today to start – spoke to marvin to call asap – she said she was frustrated because the email did not include her login info and she was unable to log in – she also got an impression that her designer did not want to talk to her until the design questionnaire is filled out – I told her that is not the case – marvin called dr after
