I reviewed the final edits and items 5, 6 and 7 from the list I gave you on 6/30 (see email trail below) are not complete. The rest are and thank you for those.
I will rewrite points 5,6 and 7 here for you so that they may be corrected. In addition I found some spelling or typing errors. Once these are corrected let us launch the site. The below needs to be corrected beforehand please:

Points (5), (6) and (7) from below are:

(5). Under reconstructive surgery square–> Head and neck reconstruction –> bone grafts , this should read as ‘bone taken without blood supply used (instead of taken) to fill in a small defect…etc.

(6). Under reconstructive surgery square –> Chest wall–> 1st line: ‘ Cardiothoracic Surgeons to address sternal wound infections after open hear procedures and chest wall defects after cancer removal. Methods used for chest wall reconstruction are:’ Heart is misspelled as ‘hear’

(7). under reconstructive surgery square –> pressure ulcer –> 1st line: ‘collaborate with the Wound Center physicians, nutritionists, home care assistance and social workers to help those who have developed pressure ulcers. assistance should be changed to ‘assistants’.

In addition we found the following typos:

1. On the main website in large type is ‘Fingerlakes and Twin Tiers Premier Plastic Surgeon’ – Finger Lakes should be two words.
2. Under the ‘gallery’ tab at the top of the page, instead of ‘coming soon’, I would prefer us to write: “Due to Dr. Sadik’s appreciation of patient privacy, he does not post patient images on this website. He would be more than happy to show you pictures of his outstanding results in the privacy of a consultation setting”.
3. Under the aesthetic service tab at the top –> Crow’s feet –> Crow’s feet is listed as a treatment, it shouldn’t be (erase Crow’s feet as a treatment for Crow’s feet)
4. Under the aesthetic service tab at the top –> Spider Veins –> KTP laser should be changed to ‘NewSurg 532 KTP laser’

Dr. Sadik,
I noticed a few errors on the list of Aesthetic Services:

Under “Crow’s Feet,” one of the treatments listed is “crows feet.” This should be removed. The other treatments are correct.

Under “Facial Redness,” there is a spelling error. It should be Neostrata Skin Care Products.

Under “Spider Veins,” one of the treatments is “KTP laser”. To be consistent, it should be “NewSurg 532 KTP laser”

Also, on the Home page:

FINGERLAKES is two words.

Also, when you “click here for more testimonials” you actually get a form to fill out to add a testimonial. I don’t know if this just because there are no others, or it is a misdirect.

1. WE CANNOT mention Guthrie clinic anywhere on this website. Under the ‘Reconstruction’ square tab half way down the website, when you click on it we are taken to a listing of services. You will note that underneath each heading it says ‘Guthrie etc;. Each mention of Guthrie should be replaced with ‘Dr. Sadik’. For instance ‘Guthrie plastic surgeons will work with various specialties…..’ should be changed to Dr. Sadik will work with various specialties. Be careful, Guthrie is mentioned under each subheading of the reconstruction section and this must be changed both on the links at the upper tabs on the top of the website for Reconstruction as well as the larger square tab for Reconstruction. No content should mention Guthrie.

2. Similarly for the Hand surgery tab at the top of the page as well as the square tab half way down the page, it takes us to a link that says ‘Guthrie hand surgeons….etc’. We should erase the fist sentence and start the paragraph with the sentence that is already there ‘Many common problems of the hand….’. Then the sentence ‘You can rely on Dr. Sadik for the latest treatment…’

3. For the drop down list of services at the top tabs, these should be in alphabetical order for ease of use.

4. When you click on the service tab at the top of the page it takes us to a new ‘patient education page’. This is a good idea, but the services listed are all over the place and don’t match the drop down menus at all.
For instance ‘cosmetic surgery’ shouldn’t list lip implants as an option. ‘reconstruction surgery’ shouldn’t list breast lift, breast augmentation or breast reduction as options. etc. I like the idea of this page, and it should remain but let us list the same services under each subheading (with the links) as they are listed in the drop down menus. These also should be listed in alphabetical order.

To review:
Under “Conditions Treated” are the subtitles of “age spots, facial redness, broken blood vessels and spider veins.” Each of these can be treated with the NewSurg 532 KTP laser. The IRIDEX KTP laser has been upgraded, and I no longer have it. The word “Iridex” needs to be removed.

Under the subtitles “skin laxity, scowl lines, smoker’s lines and crow’s feet,” the Solution column reads ” Laser Resurfacing” then “Profractional” and “Full Field.” Profractional and Full Field are types of resurfacing and not separate treatments. They should be removed.

Also, Following SublimeRF and Sublative RF, it should be noted that RF is radio-frequency…. perhaps Sublime RF (radio-frequency)?

I’m still reviewing but right off the bat, my bio page shouldn’t say ‘your sayre plastic surgeon’ but rather ‘your twin tiers plastic surgeon’.

Also,
the hand button half way down the page should go to a page with hyperlinks for each of the hand issues as opposed to a 65 page pdf! I saw that this was done for the drop down menus up top. But wasn’t done for the ‘hand surgery’ button half way down the page.

Under the ‘services’ tab—> cosmetic surgery at the top of the page, and the cosmetic surgery content later in the page with the clickable boxes below, you guys have not used any of the cosmetic surgery content I gave you. It seems you used your stock cosmetic content. I will attach our cosmetic content in a word document with this email. I think our content should be melded with your content. I also don’t like that with each cosmetic surgery service you refer to on the site is referred to as the ‘sayre body contouring’ or the sayre brow lift. As I mentioned before I do not wish to refer to these procedures or the website by the small town we are in. I would prefer you just remove the word sayre from any content related to the services tab. ie just refer to it as the ‘brow lift procedure’ etc.
5. Under the ‘services tab’–>cosmetic surgery –> ‘medical botox’ please remove the final line on the bottom of the content with the random telephone numbers etc. This is old content that is irrelevant here. ALSO please remove ‘overactive bladder’ as these are done by urology and not us anymore. Finally, please make the website links mentioned in the content clickable. (hyperlinks)
6. For the hand section, placing all that content on the same page is unwieldy. The hand button or tab should take us to a page with an alphabetical list of the hand subtitles of services that are clickable. By clicking ‘arthritis’, this should take us to the ‘arthritis’ content, etc, etc.
7. Melissa’s bio is nowhere to be seen, she sent the content and it needs to be added ‘it now simply says ‘coming soon”.
8. The aesthetic services tab at the top of the page, when clicked, should create a drop down menu of conditions (the list of conditions that are on the main aesthetic content site). There, when you click on frown lines, it should take you to a page listing the ways to resolve frown lines (as per the content we sent you).
9. Finally, I would like electronic content whether booking online or sending an email to go to sadik_karim@guthrie.org as well as karimwsadik@gmail.com (there is a w between my first and last name on this gmail account. This may change later but I would like to see what comes through before deciding how these should be directed.

The Hand Surgery pamphlet you gave us has a lot of pages. We have it setup to download as a PDF if you click on the Hand Surgery link so as not to overwhelm the viewer. My recommendation is to create a webpage with condensed info (1-2 pages PDF wise) and have the PDF downloadable as a link within that page. Please let me know if this is what we want to do and let me know how you would want to condense the information.

The following are things that still need to be adjusted slightly:

1. Can we have the ‘contact us’ form go to two emails?
2. Remove ‘lip implants’ from aesthetic cosmetic surgery; it should be listed under aesthetic services (the drop down menu up top).
3. The top of the website service drop down menus have the list of services in very big font. The font also doesn’t look the same as the rest of the website. The words are spilling outside of the box of the drop down menu (I am using updated explorer)
4. Add breast augmentation, breast lift and breast reduction to the cosmetic surgery drop down menu (remove from the reconstructive surgery drop down menu)
5. In the attached word document named ‘reconstruction’ is the list of services that should be shown for reconstruction on the drop down menu and the button tap for recon further down on the website.
6. In the attached word document named ‘hand surgery’ is the list of services that should be shown for reconstruction on the drop down menu and the button tap for recon further down on the website. This list is long, so maybe there shouldn’t be a drop down menu for this one but simply you can click ‘hand surgery and it brings you to a master page with links to all the different hand services listed in the word document.
7. Further down the website why is there a big space under the list of ‘clinical interests’? It isn’t lined up correctly, and there is a big gap between the services on the left (I am using updated explorer)
8. Please change the list of clinical interests from ‘hand trauma and reconstruction’ to just ‘hand surgery’.
9. Should we remove the ‘contact’ button at the top of the website? It isn’t along the same line as the other tabs, it is sitting underneath and doesn’t look symmetrical. Should we instead just have the ‘schedule a consultation tab’ further down? Alternatively, if we can get the ‘contact us’ tab to line up better that would be optimal
10. The tab for consultation should say ‘schedule a consultation’ and not ‘schedule a FREE consultation’. We cannot give free consultations at this facility.
11. I would prefer to put in generic before and after photos. I do not want to claim these are my results. I simply want it to state that these are typical results.
12. I’ve attached something called ‘chronic wounds’. This content should be listed under ‘reconstruction’.
13. I’ve attached something called ‘medical botox’. This should be listed under ‘reconstruction’.

Hi Dr. Sadik,

We adjusted the services boxes to include “Hand Surgery” and “Aesthetic Surgery”. Also included the logo from the lighter version onto this. Added keywords “Tioga Downs” “Twin Tiers” “Northern Tier” and “Southern Tier” when viable. We also removed the frosted rectangle at the footer.

The difference between the two attached is mainly the logo and the hero background.

I suggest going with “C”. As the logo is more readable with this design in mind.

Hi Sachit,

This Doctor works for a Hospital, but wants to make a site dedicated to just him. He is a cosmetic surgeon so we will need to look very modern, clean, and high end with a heavy emphasis on glamorous imagery.

He really likes the design I made for a previous client. (tseng -attached) The Dr. has not given me a picture of himself, but go ahead and use a dapper caucasian male in a suit as a suitable replacement for now.

He mentioned Finger Lakes and wanting to in the long term have his practice a more “destination” style setting for NYC clients. Think Napa Valley.

Things to note: He is color blind to red/green, but trusts us on colors. He likes muted colors.

As for his logo, make a simple script or lockup of his name. Maybe his initials.

What is unique about him as well is he treats Burns/Scars with a procedure he calls “laser release”. He does do typical plastic/cosmetic surgery, but he also deals with reconstructive surgery.

His target is the usual plastic surgeon target. 22-35 young females and 50+ females. Affluent.

Please make a second draft to be a little more toned down on the glamour (but still high end) to show his compassionate side.

Thank you for getting back to me. Email is my favored mode of communication as I am in procedures most every day. I do reconstructive, trauma and cosmetic surgery. It is the cosmetic surgical component that I would specifically want to market with a website, search engine optimization etc. Is there some way you can send me an email with the list of services and the price breakdown? I live in upstate NY and my practice is based in PA just over the border. My catchment area is the whole Southern Tier of NY and Northern Tier of PA.
