    “Hi Danny,

    I did some research, and it sounds like since waimeasmiles.com isn’t targeted toward children, it’s not necessary for us to take all the steps for compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

    However, just to have our bases covered, I think it is a good idea to add a required Date of Birth field to the Appointment Request form. And then if possible, I would like the form to respond conditionally to the input from that field. If someone enters a birthdate that indicates they are under 13, the form submission will be rejected, and they will be automatically sent to a page that says “Sorry! You can’t submit this form without a parent or guardian. Please have them contact us! info@waimeasmiles.com 808-887-8801”

    If it’s a big coding hassle to do the conditional birthdate thing, we could just put a field in the form that says, “Are you over 13 years old? Yes/No.” And have that redirect to the “Sorry!” page if they select “No.” Since there has never been a child trying to submit this request form before, I don’t anticipate it being an issue.

    Last thing: there’s a weird formatting issue with the Captcha in the request form, where the input field is wider than its container. Is it possible to get this fixed?

    1. When I clicked the “Book an Appointment” button from the homepage, it opened a new window in my phone. Clicking “Contact Us” or any other option through the menu just opens the new page in the same window, which I prefer.

    2. The Contact Us page seems to have some alignment issues. The Google interior tour and map are both hanging off the edge of the viewable area on my phone screen, and they’re off center in different directions. Could we make these smaller and centered?

    3. The explanation above the contact form is condensed into a column on the left side of the page, leaving a blank column on the right.

    4. The email address doesn’t have a link. Can we make it so people can click it and open up a new email draft in their email app?

I think there’s more information in this section than most people who visit the website will need. Also some of these animations are a little unsettling with the half-face skull jaw thing.
    * Need before/after photos from Dr. Leesa – I’d love for this page to just be a 3×3 or 3×4 grid of photos (of Waimea Smiles patients) that link to subpages (which have the same individual photos) that give overviews of some of the most common and most financially productive services. Each of these pages can have links to the appropriate videos from AACD if applicable. This is also where I think it would be best to use the included pages of custom copy.

    Dr called back. SUPER nice. Current site was designed by a referral and it took months, not happy cause it shows they are amateurs and not what she wants. Many issues with the current site. Dr is shopping around and has spoken to many companies particularly Officite. Gave her comparison with what we do vs them and others. Answered a lot of her questions from SEO to Adwords. Dr felt very educated more than from what others she has spoken to. My information made more sense as well she said. Told her i’ll send proposal with the Google test so she can compare and show her examples. She was impressed with our portfolio as well. Very hot lead and will most likely order.

    responded back to dr letting her know that our library we have different variations of them and our clients goes in and rewrite the verbiages. this is beneficial because a lot of companies requires the dr to provide.
