Connie was not aware that there are charges for the monthly fees because they had the intent of hosting on their own. Explained to her how it works which she understood after. She stated that site should be done and transferred hopefully within the next 2 weeks so she request to waive the next charge which I did. but it will auto charge after that if not transferred by then. she understood as well. very nice and understanding.

Wants banner images zoomed out if possible so that no heads are cut off. I let client know there may not be enough width of the image to support this.

I have spoken to the doctor in regards to the template and there are a few changes that we would like to make:

1. The font size of the navigation bar on top, could it be a little larger (1-2 font sizes larger)
2. Dental News- direct link to ADA website
3. Upcoming Events- I will add content myself each month, but as of now, I am thinking of featuring something for our orthodontist. Would you have any content that you can post right now? If not, the big picture on our main website has a flyer that I made, and it can go on there for now
4. For the 4 blocks of services that have pictures (located under the main picture). Can we switch the categories to Orthodontics, Oral Surgery & Wisdom Teeth Extraction, Periodontics, and Implants respectively? Along with appropriate pictures of course.
5. For the top navigation bar that says implants in chinese (种植牙), can you move that page under services, and title it Implants (Chinese version)?
6. Testimonials- could we take out the little survey submit form and replace it with the current ones we have under Yelp as well as our website?

Make mobile site.

Talked to Connie, she sent pictures of their office through their yelp. Told her that we are 90% done and showed a small image sample to see how it looks.

Connie has let me know that her availability is Tue, Fri and Sat.

Connie decided to go with Vail Medical via Danny’s correspondence. I emailed her a few color samples. I called to follow up and was told she will not be in the office until Friday.

I will go forward in setting up Vail Medical’s design (desktop and mobile) with a color I feel she would like since the change is minor if she does end up going with a different color. Best case, we will get approval the day Connie comes back to the office.

Connie had a few service questions in our design interview. I described how As-Is works more in depth.

Interested in Vail design. Wants to change green text to blue and etc. (minor code changes).

Asked if sites are responsive and said all of our sites are. Told her Vail’s mobile is a separate service. Interested in mobile and inquired how much.

Also wants to know more about video services that she heard about from Danny.

They like a modern design with less words. They have a logo that is turquoise, I asked for a copy to make sure the design they chose does not clash with logo.

Described As-is and what to look for in gallery. They like Vail but would like to change the green accents to blue/sky blue if possible. Said I would have to check with Danny/Belinda. They asked if the sites were mobile responsive. I said that all sites were responsive, but the Vail site she is looking at in her phone is a design specifically for mobile. She inquired to how much and I said I would have Danny let her know.

She wants a slider for the office inner with their office pictures. Interested in video subscription as well.

Here are the answers to your questions 🙂

1. If we do buy the package with ownshiper, but later have issues that cannot be resolved by our IT person and choose to have the month maintenance by optimized360, will we be charged $49 for every month from then? or can we just get it for 1 month and cancel the monthly fee after the issue is resolved? Or will we have the chance to always ask questions and be directed to solve issues that arise with upcoming desgins?
– If your IT has an issue and I can help resolve it, I will be more than happy to have my IT provide guidance. Because you are hosting it on your own server, we do not have access and not authorize to access your server due to security reasons. But as stated, we can help troubleshoot by providing guidance! There is no cost for this. The $49/m is applied if we move the files back over to our server to access and if so, we will provide 100% support. This is the same policy with any company you will talk to. They will not access your server. Our sites that we develop for you it is very advanced but at the same time very user-friendly. Any IT can support and maintain the site. In the past 5 years, i would only recall maybe 1 client that we have to provide consultation to their IT 🙂

2. While browsing the pre-designed websites on the gallery page, we’ve noticed a few desgins that have videos linked/embedded by MediaMed(not sure of name), we were very interested in them, and was wondering if we could also have them included? Will that be the gold package? Or will we have to buy the ownship, sign some contract with the video company directly? We already have videos from Guru, which you stated will be imported to the new website, how will this new video site affect our package?
– The mediamed videos is a separate fee which is $20/m. This $20/m is not our fee but that companies fees that allows our clients to use it. It is a discounted rate. If you’d like to use it, let us know and we will set it up for you. If you went directly to Mediamed, they charge you more per month, I believe it is about $30. That $20/m rate is contracted for our clients. If you’d like, simply let us know 🙂 There is no contract, its on a month to month basis. It is better that you decide now because it requires embedding vs later on, it may be difficult for your IT to embed it on to the site. There is no extra cost to setup the videos on our end!

3. For pictures that are currently on the pre-designed websites, will we have a gallery to choose images from or will we have to provide our own? The copyrights and ownership of those images are our concern since we aren’t able to produce pictures ourselves, and would have to rely on a second source.
– The stock images that we place on our client’s site are “royalty-free” images which means we bought them and have a license for it which means because you have ownership, you have it too. If there are any specific images you’d like, simply let us know and we’ll get it for you. For example if you need a certain age group, ethnicity, landmarks, etc images, we can get it.

Asked about avoiding monthly fees, not sure how it works. explained ownership. after asking her about current site, they have an IT in the office that is managing the current site. Advised that it is better that we host cause its very minimal. Will discuss with dr. Very nice and hot lead. emailed proposal
