    Jan, I’ve been working with Candi (dr’s wife) to figure out where her G+ account is located and/or associated with. She has 3 gmail accounts. Julie was the previous employee that had worked with us during this setup so she doesn’t know how Julie had set it up but it should be associated to 1 of the 3.

    Can you shoot her an email to coordinate a day/time for you to call her so that she can give you the login credentials so you can quickly access and help her locate the listing so she can know to update the info herself in the future. I’ve asked her to give us the login credentials but she is not comfortable with it which is understandable so i had suggest to do this route while you’re on the phone, then she can reset the password again once it is done.

    Spoke to candi, had questions about SEO/PPC. doesn’t know much. Gave her a quick overview.

    They are #8 organically. Has 2 G+ listing, both verified but doens’t know what gmail it was associated to. Julie was the previous employer who prob set it up so she willt ry to find out. Told her what to do as far as optimizing it.

    Told her about PPC. its in a rural non-competive area. Told her min is $500/m. There are other cities that is about 15 miles away that she gets patients from which we may be able to do targeting zip codes.

    She will look into this and get back to me. Told her how ppc works and its flexibility. Told her to have a list of zip codes in order of priorities. we will do our best to cover as much as we can for $500/m.

    When you click on the bars on the appointment information page and it takes you down to the section you want, the title of the section is behind the menu bar. The title of the section was supposed to be below the menu bar so the visitor can read it without scrolling.

    Dr. LaMartina’s wife Candi, and Dr. wants administrative access to their emails. Right now we are hosting their emails through workspace and are trying to get them all set up with their email software such as Outlook and Outlook Web Access which is time-consuming.

    So far they didn’t have too much of an interruption with receiving emails. I also made sure they backed up all their old email messages as well.

    For the time being I have explained to them they can access their email through the 360controlpanel.com link.

    But their main concern is having complete administrative access over their email. I am currently trying to think of what we could do.

    They originally would like for us to do the typical way of making a site live by changing their A record to our IP address on the DNS file. This did not work at all, nothing in the DNA actually propagated or changed (even after 2 full days). So we decided to transfer the domain over to us. At first they were apprehensive because they have an implied personal vendetta with GoDaddy. So I changed the domains admin email to mine so I can get all transfer related emails, the email they originally had on file was outdated for over a few years now.

    After changing the domain admin email on the domain to my email address, Charter refused to send an EPP code for 60 days because of the ICANN regulations and the recent changes of email addresses, however, this was waived because they found the email that was originally associated with the domain has been expired.

    Charter then explained to Dr. LaMartina over the phone that he will send the EPP code to my email within 24 hours and I have received nothing yet. Currently, we are waiting for that email with the EPP/Authorization code. It may or may not show up. Overall the client is getting impatient, which is completely understandable.

    Additionally, they do have email address associated with their Charter account. I have explained to them multiple times that there may be some downtime while the transfer process starts and we get their new emails set up on GoDaddy, I told them we will try our best to minimize this downtime. I have also suggested that when the transfer starts they forward all their current emails to an email outside of their domain. They would prefer to have their emails through GoDaddy because they are running out of email storage on Charter. They use Outlook in their office so it should be a simple setup once they get their SMTP addresses.

    They would also like to find a way to back up their old emails. I think outlook saves the emails directly on the computer right? I’m not sure what do you think?

    I will attach a list of their current email addresses they would like to have.

    In terms of forwarding when the transfer process starts they would like:

    I received an email from Julie stating “First of all the forms… I just looked at them and that is not at all what we were looking for. What we have on our current site is what we wanted. They did that with the assignment of benefits agreement but not the new patient paperwork. Here is the issue, this is not a submittable form, therefore you have to print it out, fill it out and bring it in with you. Once here we have to scan it into our computer system. Having it be 4 pages is unrealistic for the patient to have to print and for us to have to scan. It would end up taking up way too much room in our database. I sent our updated form to you so it could be made to type on and print out like the current one on our website. Please let me know what we need to do to fix this.”

    Originally when she ordered the form I stated “It would be $199, what we do is get a scan of the patient forms and use a specialty software to individually add text areas to each fillable portion of the patient form. So in the end the form will have areas to type in and the ability to print out the typed-out patient form. Would you like to move forward? ”

    She replied “Yes, we will go ahead with it. Thanks!”

    1. Homepage:

    a. The format is still not correct. We discussed this last week but it has still not been fixed. You have a bar at the bottom to drag from right to left to see the entire page. Also the sections are too tall, to where you can’t see the entire section on the screen without moving up and down. This was previously fixed but somehow last week it started appearing like that again. (the building section is the most noticeable).

    b. The logo seems to go off the screen at the top.

    c. The phone number is not in line with the top of the logo.

    d. The quote on the side of the video testimonials can be changed to: “We’re very happy! Would recommend Dr. LaMartina to anyone!” Stephanie (or you can extract something else, but it should come out of Stephanie’s review, not Christies.

    2. Meet our team:

    a. I had asked for Tracy’s photo to be zoomed in on so it appears the same as the other photos.

    3. Office:

    a. Make all the photos side by side instead of one at the top, then two rows of two and one at the bottom. The way the photos should be arranged is: first line should be outside picture and the waiting room, second line should be operatory photo then the hallway, then last line should be the two front desk photos.

    b. Move the insurance and payment portion to the top of the Financial page.

    4. Implant Dentistry:

    a. “DENTAL IMPLANTS” is still behind the menu bar. It is like this on several different sections, I won’t list them individually, they just all need to be visible.

    5. Removable Partials: They need headers centered over the photos: The first one should say Flexible Partial, the next should say metal base partial.

    6. ADHA needs removed. We do not have association with them. Also, all the images and Professional Organizations for the different associations, they should have links back to their websites. We have them linked on our current website so you can find the links there.

    7. Bonding and Smile Makeover sections: I am attaching a couple of photos as to how they should be arranged. I had let you know that a couple had been left off and so when they were put on they were not put on in the correct spots. They also need the headers over them as to what they are (you will see that in the photos).

    8. All photos: They should not pop out. If they click on the photo nothing should happen, desktop or mobile.

    Next, here are the things on the mobile site that Dr. LaMartina noticed when he was looking through it:
    1. Cosmetic Dentistry: The photos are distorted.

    2. Sedation Dentistry: Premier logo should be a link to premier. (This is for both the mobile and desktop site)

    3. Treatment Options: There are no photos at all…

    4. Smile Gallery: Photos distorted.

    5. Meet our team: the format seems to be all over to the left and only half of the screen. Not sure if this has to do with the staff photos at the bottom being 4 across or what but it isn’t right.

    6. The mobile menu, when you click on meet our team it brings up a drop down menu for Office, WDA news, and Facebook, but it won’t let you go into Meet our team (the part where all of the bios for dr and staff are). Seems the only way to get to that sections is from the home menu.

    7. The home screen only has ½ of Dr LaMartina on it with the logo really large and the phone # over his face…

    8. Also, I keep getting an error message that says a problem with this webpage has occurred so it was reloaded. This won’t happen on the finished site will it? It seems very glitchy.

What images should i put for this? Mobile5. The way this is formatted makes the page have a horizontal scroll. We can use bootstrap but I was told to use visual composer for things that are inside the content. Mobile6. Mobile menu is being taken care of by devs. Mobile7. Homepage looks good to us. There isn't much we can do about him appearing on that side when the image is resized. Mobile8. Not sure what she means by this. I have not encounter any glitches.

    julie called, had a concern about the image that had sent over of dr. lamartina on the home page which came out really big and zoomed in not exposing any other buttons below the 1st section. She wanted less of the image to prioritize the other section. I checked with her and she was viewing it on a 22″ and a 28″ monitor. Also noticed how the text would go over his face on smaller monitors. I told her that this is 1 of the few disadvantages of a Fully Responsive site because it has to auto-collapse.

    Told her that I will talk to Mitchell and its possible that the lead designer (belinda) has to get involved to see what can be done to work around this.

    Mitchell, please talk to me if this doesn’t make sense but more importantly talk to belinda as well. Please call the client within the next few hours to give an update.

    Candie had called, inquired about email accounts cause she saw it on our site. Told her it is included. They currently have emails through CHARTER and issue they are having is mailbox is always full and when they contacted Charter, they want to charge a lot more to increase from their current 250mb. Asked her and found out she is using Outlook so I explained to her how it works and how it should be setup to simply delete from the server after it retrieves it to the computer. She then understood that that is what they can do to prevent from having to pay more. Told her that we can setup for her as well too but we will be doing the same which is to have her set it up that way so there is no similar issue. Also gave her an overview of how Server works (1 for web and 1 for emails). She wil let us know if she wants us or keep it the same.

    We like the full width better. We also like the buttons from the first draft better. If you look at the buttons from the website that we gave you as a reference, when you hover over them there is text that appears. Wouldn't that be readable text? Also, is there a way to invert the logo colors so it can be placed on top of the photo as opposed to being a large bar at the top of the page? The concept in general is getting closer to what we want. I'm not sure how close it has to be during the concept phase. In other words, at what point can we not make changes any longer? Also, Dr. LaMartina would like future drafts to go to his email as well. So if you could send to both of us that would be great.     Mitchell, i spoke to Julie regarding the site being Mobile Responsive, it is ok to do it in this true format as long as the design concept allows it with no issue. Check with Belinda, may need to design the concept to fit this.

    Regarding the initial draft. Julie apologized stating that the initial info she had sent, they did not get together and think it through because they’ve been wanting to do this for a while now but held the project off until their logo was developed. They have new fresh set of ideas and saw other references. What was given to you was prior ideas back then. I told her depending on what she discusses with Mitchell, we may be able to reformat the initial concept or may have to create a new one. Ok this one time if we need to.
    Client is very nice and understands that what was given to Mitchell was limited info and he practically had to create it “in the dark” based on what she said.

    had a scheduled ph conf with julie and dr. went over how design process works. wants a custom, assured him it was. Questions about integrating ratebiz reviews, had issues with current company... explained how it works by embedding it and its through 3rd party dependent of us. has issue with turn around time where it takes weeks, told him it s about 1-3 depending on the work. went over the CMS how that works. assured no limit to # of pages. Talked about SEO & Adwords Julie is aware of both. Told her how intiial development we will set up SEO but on-going it is $500/m per keyword. Already on 1st page so this will help optimize their site to maintain and possibly move up but no guarantees. asked about branding, told her we can do logo design ($1,000), process for that and timeframe is 3-4 weeks minimum and this needs to be done prior to doing the site. Great conversation... will review and get back to me.

    Had a scheduled ph conference today to speak with Dr. When i called julie apologized cause their power and internet was down. Did answer some further questions she had which was about ownership, custom content, wants site to be full responsive and if we are able to do so, doesn't really know the difference but possibly want this. Also wants the menu to follow as you scroll... assured her we can. Sent her an email with examples of clients that has full responsive and also a fixed menu that follows as you scroll. Julie also stated dr will be out all of next week. told her if dr likes, he can call me tomorrow to answer any questions and hopefully finalize so that we can have a concept ready by the time he comes back.
