    Dr spoke to Marvin regarding the design, having second thoughts on his approved design. Showed Marvin a few other sites that he liked which marvin stated was a bit busy. Dr asked marvin to have me call him to get my input.

    I called dr to discuss, dr stated that he was with a patient but wants to talk to me tomorrow at 12:30pm. Dr was very nice, just mentioned that he wants his site to be “wow” and wants my input/feedback on what we can do.

    No active underline.

    Fade in when first hovered.

    Have there be a delay before the underline moves to the next hover. Not having this will cause the underline to jump to “home” as you are hovering through the menu as it is now.

    We decided to go super clean with a good amount of negative space. Like we discussed, these types of designs are made by the little details such as animations in the user interface.

    We can further discuss how a person would interact with each of the designs if necessary. In the meantime, here is the overview.

    -Nav bar underline will slide to whatever is hovered.
    -Main Image will be a slider
    -Side-bars will pop out slightly when hovered.

    “5a”
    -Nav bar underline will appear from right to left (gradient) when hovered.
    -“Contact us” button will fill with your logo blue when hovered.
    -Feature bar will become more opaque when hovered.

    Hello Dr. Beaty,

    I’ve compiled a new draft based on Dr. Federick’s site that you have liked. I kept the design simple and open just as hers was. Please note that I placed a temporary landscape photo that may be adjusted based on your feedback.

    The two designs we have thus far are much different from each other but do have each their own benefit. This one that I am submitting is a lot simpler, and is very easy to navigate. The prior blue one, however, is much more eye-catching and makes a visual impact upon landing on the website.

    I’m glad you like the design! I love it as well! I’ve attached different options for the logo. I didn’t want to cover the girl’s head, therefore put the swoosh behind her for one of the drafts. I also included a version with the telephone number at the top. Please let me know your thoughts!

    If one of the drafts is perfect, let me know if you approve of it. If you still would like to see changes other than text/photos, please let me know. Otherwise, if you approve, I can go into development of the site. During this phase, we won’t be able to make major color and layout changes however. Text/Photos can be adjusted at any time!

    I can definitely show you something like Dr. Frederick's but I have to be honest, most websites these days looks exactly like hers. It doesn't have much of a design, and just has images and a white background. I will send you another mock up similar to that one but with your own style by early next week!

    Dr. Beaty has a request :) Our competition in the area works with Optimized 360 as well. Dr. Beaty wants a website that doesn't look like a standard site. He wants something more custom, something you don't see too often. Here is an example of a website you have done that just looks different than other sites.     #1) Love the color scheme. It looks like the logo was altered a bit. The curve under the words usually extends the length of the words. Could we adjust that?     Kaela scheduled a ph conf with Dr. Beaty. Called him at 3pm, dr was extremely nice. Was with Sesame before, didn't like them. Currently with a local guy but he is no where to be found. Dr noticed 1 of our client on the 1st page (Dr. Brian Williams) organically and in G+ area. I also showed him Dr. Fredericks whom we are doing Adwords for. Told him how she started off with $1,000/m and now is doing $3,000/m. Dr had Adword with a company but cancelled cause wasn't getting results. Dr wants to get a new site built based on a my recommendation so it gets reindexed but understands there is no guarantee but we will do our best. Once site is up and running, we can discuss Adword to give it a go. Dr asked to send contract to get started.

Told her that before he makes a decision, to let me know who is is narrowing down to so I can see what they are offering. She said she will. Very nice. Definitely call her before they finalize!

    Sep 11, 2014 Kaela emailed us for info. Called her... very nice. main concern is with Sesame, poor communication... saw a drop in patients and not on 1st page. She is super nice, had site for a while now. I showed her our client on 1st page for G+ & organic (federal way dentist keyword)... dr. brian williams. She knows a bit about SEO. Gave her an overview and also how to do successful seo naturally. She was very impressed and it was clearer now to her. She is very interested and will pass on to dr. She will push him to go with our comnpany. Sent her an email with the info.

    Kaela scheduled a ph conf with Dr. Beaty. Called him at 3pm, dr was extremely nice. Was with Sesame before, didn't like them. Currently with a local guy but he is no where to be found. Dr noticed 1 of our client on the 1st page (Dr. Brian Williams) organically and in G+ area. I also showed him Dr. Fredericks whom we are doing Adwords for. Told him how she started off with $1,000/m and now is doing $3,000/m. Dr had Adword with a company but cancelled cause wasn't getting results. Dr wants to get a new site built based on a my recommendation so it gets reindexed but understands there is no guarantee but we will do our best. Once site is up and running, we can discuss Adword to give it a go. Dr asked to send contract to get started.
